Meeting Stats

Punty's Early Mail

Rightio Sickos, Happy Valley under lights, C course on a Good track, and the humidity's so thick you could spread it on toast. This joint's a pressure cooker at the best of times — tonight it looks like one of those meetings where you either map it right and look like Rain Man, or you end up donating like a charity drive.

MEET SNAPSHOT

Track: Happy Valley, 1200m–2200m card
Rail: "C" Course (tight-ish Happy Valley lanes)
Official going: GOOD (expected to play leader/on-pace friendly early, but don’t be shocked if they peel out later)
Weather: 17.1C, humidity 99%, 22.2mm around (watch for a slightly gluey surface + lanes changing as the night goes on)
Early lane guess: Early speed + rail runs, then follow the winners out wider if the inside gets chopped
Tempo profile: Plenty of genuine sprint pressure, with a couple of tactical “sit-sprint” jobs
Jockeys to follow:
Zac Purton — if he smells a rail run at the Valley, it’s usually already too late for everyone else
Hugh Bowman — big-race brain, and tonight’s cards got a few “needs timing” horses
Dylan Browne McMonagle — keeps landing on the right ones in the right spots, especially when the pace gets messy
Stables to respect:
D A Hayes (8 runners) — the meeting’s got his fingerprints everywhere; if one’s ready, it’ll run
A S Cruz (6 runners) — plenty of live chances across the card, and he places them to win here
J J Size (6 runners) — the Valley is his backyard; if one maps sweet, it’s usually there late

Punty's take: Happy Valley on the C course is like trying to overtake on a go-kart track — position is everything. If you’re three-wide with cover you’re still doing it the hard way, and if you’re three-wide no cover you may as well be pushing a trolley up Parramatta Road. The sprints look genuinely-run, which means leaders can pinch it… but the wrong leader can also get cooked and set it up for the stalkers.

Race 5 and Race 6 are the “ok, strap in” part of the night: you’ve got a proper standout profile in there (Romantic Gladiator) and a bully type (Giant Leap) who can make the rest look like they’re running in flippers. Then you hit Race 7 — and it’s full Hunger Games. Wide-open, awkward maps, and you’ll be yelling “WHY ARE YOU THERE?!” at the TV like it’s a horror movie and the bloke’s walking downstairs.

What it means for you: Be aggressive when the map + value line up (Race 5, and a few late plays), but don’t go trying to win the meeting in the chaos races. In the open stuff, keep stakes sensible and let the exotics do the heavy lifting — especially Exacta-style plays where we can anchor one and get paid when the favourite does something dumb.

Also: don’t marry the early track pattern. If the inside starts riding like a boggy footy oval after a couple, pivot. The Valley can flip on you quicker than a mate who says “just one beer” on payday.

PUNTY'S BIG 3 + MULTI

These are the three bets the day leans on.
1 - Giant Leap (Race 5, No.1) — $5.60
Why Maps to bully them from on-pace and this grade looks right in his wheelhouse.
2 - Romantic Gladiator (Race 6, No.5) — $9.00
Why Unbeaten, upside for days, and if he gets even a smother he can put them away.
3 - Withallmyfaith (Race 9, No.11) — $6.80
Why On-pace profile in a Valley mile-and-a-bit — perfect “sit and pounce” setup.
Multi (all three to win): $10 × ~342.72 = ~$3427.20 collect

Race 1 – The “Welcome To The Valley” Grind

Race type: Class 5, 1800m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace with No.10 rolling; a few want a spot and a few get inconvenienced
Punty read: Class 5 at 1800m is where dreams go to get mugged. If No.10 Jolly Jumper controls it without being harassed, he can pinch a break and make them chase around the tin. But the danger is the usual Valley issue: you go too slow and it turns into a sprint home, you go too hard and you set it up for the swoopers. No.1 Kasa Papa gets the pilot you want in a race like this — and if he sees daylight at the right time, he’ll be in the finish.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Jolly Jumper (No.10) — $23.00 / $6.50
Prob 10.6% | Value: 0.84x
Bet No Bet
Why If he dictates, he can steal it… but he’s not safe enough for the place anchor.
2. Kasa Papa (No.1) — $4.50 / $1.90
Prob 21.3% | Value: 1.17x
Bet $15.00 Saver Win, return $67.50
Why Purton from a good draw at the Valley — if he gets off the fence at the right moment, it’s game on.
3. On The Lash (No.2) — $23.00 / $6.90
Prob 18.6% | Value: 1.56x
Bet No Bet
Why Can lob closer than most and keep improving into the race, but we’re already loaded up.

Roughie: All Are Mine (No.9) — $9.30 / $2.90
Prob 21.0% | Value: 0.74x
Bet No Bet
Why Backmarker type — if they overcook it up front, he’s the one launching late down the outside.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 10, 1, 9, 7 — $15
Why Genuine tempo and multiple winning profiles — box the speed and the stalkers and let them sort the order.

Punty's Pick: Trifecta Box [10, 1, 9, 7] — $20 (Value: 5.3x)
Class 5 chaos with a live leader — the box is the seatbelt.

Race 2 – The 1200m Mug’s Game

Race type: Class 5, 1200m
Map & tempo: Moderate; a couple can take it up, but it’s not a suicide mission
Punty read: This is the kind of race where you want something that can absorb a bit of bumping, hold a spot, and still kick. No.6 Only U looks the obvious engine room play, and if Purton has him balanced at the corner he can blouse them. No.2 Call To Command has been doing things the hard way and can improve with a cleaner trip — big chance if he’s not posted.

Top 3 + Roughie ($20.00 pool)

1. Only U (No.6) — $4.10 / $1.80
Prob 21.2% | Value: 1.07x
Bet $11.00 Win, return $45.10
Why Purton in a moderate-run Valley 1200m — if he gets the right cart into it, he’ll be in the punch-up.
2. Call To Command (No.2) — $7.70 / $2.80
Prob 18.6% | Value: 1.76x
Bet $9.00 Saver Win, return $69.30
Why Last time had excuses, and this setup screams “improver” if he gets any cover.
3. Cheer For South (No.9) — $22.00 / $6.10
Prob 26.9% | Value: 2.03x
Bet No Bet
Why On-pace and can stick on when others are gasping — perfect for a Valley ambush.

Roughie: Verbier (No.11) — $14.00 / $4.10
Prob 22.3% | Value: 1.13x
Bet No Bet
Why If they dawdle then dash, he’s the type who can be the last one off the bridle and sneak into the minors.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 6, 2, 11, 9 — $15
Why Moderate tempo means the top few profiles can all take turns in the frame — box and pray.

Punty's Pick: Cheer For South (No.9) $6.10 Place
If he lands in the first handful, he’ll keep boxing on like a stubborn bastard.

Race 3 – The Stayin’ Alive 2200m

Race type: Class 4, 2200m
Map & tempo: Slow pace likely; tactical race where position late matters
Punty read: Valley staying races with a slow tempo turn into a cage fight from the 600m. You don’t want to be spotting them five lengths when the sprint goes on. No.2 Serangoon at a price is the “classy old stayer” angle — if Bowman pushes the button at the right time, he can round them. No.6 Ace War is the safer “I’ll run top three if I get clear air” type.

Top 3 + Roughie ($20.00 pool)

1. Serangoon (No.2) — $9.20 / $3.40
Prob 10.9% | Value: 1.24x
Bet $12.50 Win, return $115.00
Why Bowman in a sit-sprint at the trip — if he’s within striking range turning in, he’s a proper knockout punch.
2. Ace War (No.6) — $8.30 / $2.10
Prob 38.7% | Value: 0.99x
Bet $7.50 Place, return $15.75
Why Consistent type for this pattern — doesn’t need to win to pay the tab.
3. Star Brose (No.11) — $4.50 / $1.90
Prob 40.2% | Value: 0.93x
Bet No Bet
Why Always around the mark, but we’re already covered with a win swing + a place anchor.

Roughie: Yiu Cheung Victory (No.7) — $19.00 / $5.30
Prob 26.6% | Value: 1.72x
Bet No Bet
Why If the leaders overrate themselves mid-race, he’s the one who can lob and pinch it late at a juicy quote.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Exacta Standout: 7 / 2, 6, 11 — $15
Why If No.7 brings that “blow the roof off” run, we want him winning and the logicals fighting out second.

Punty's Pick: Exacta Standout [7, 2, 6, 11] — $20 (Value: 7.4x)
Slow-run 2200m: chaos late — anchor the knockout roughie on top.

Race 4 – The 1200m Dash With Teeth

Race type: Class 4, 1200m
Map & tempo: Genuine speed; if you’re snoozing early you’re cooked
Punty read: This is a proper Valley 1200m: pressure, cornering, and somebody getting carted wide. No.2 Genius Baby is the kind of horse who can be “better than his form” if he gets the right sit and the gaps appear. No.12 Gameplayer Elite can stalk and pounce — but you want him out of traffic at the corner. No.7 Flash Star is the value spice if the race shape gives him a soft trail into it.

Top 3 + Roughie ($25.00 pool)

1. Genius Baby (No.2) — $6.10 / $2.30
Prob 26.5% | Value: 1.97x
Bet $15.50 Win, return $94.55
Why Genuine pace suits a midfield stalker — if he’s within two at the bend, he can pick them up.
2. Gameplayer Elite (No.12) — $5.20 / $1.80
Prob 17.2% | Value: 1.09x
Bet $9.50 Saver Win, return $49.40
Why Maps to get a crack at them late — saver is insurance if the favourite runs to profile.
3. Flash Star (No.7) — $12.00 / $3.40
Prob 15.9% | Value: 0.66x
Bet No Bet
Why Can park closer than most — just needs the right tow into it.

Roughie: Giddy Up (No.11) — $13.00 / $3.70
Prob 32.6% | Value: 1.48x
Bet No Bet
Why If they burn early and the leaders wobble, he’s the swooper who can absolutely blouse the placegetters.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 2, 12, 11, 7 — $15
Why Hot speed + multiple live closers — perfect recipe for a messy top three.

Punty's Pick: Genius Baby (No.2) $6.10 Win
If he gets the stalking run, he’s the one with the last crack.

Race 5 – The Bully Job (Dominant Edge)

Race type: Class 4, 1200m
Map & tempo: Moderate; on-pace types should control the chessboard
Punty read: This is where you want to be simple. No.1 Giant Leap looks like the bloke who walks into the pub and everyone shuts up. He maps to sit on the speed and put them to the sword. No.2 Tactical Command can run into a place if he’s not giving away too much start. No.4 Fortune Whiskey is always around the ruck but needs luck if he’s back and spotting them a head start.

Top 3 + Roughie ($25.00 pool)

1. Giant Leap (No.1) — $5.60 / $2.30
Prob 37.4% | Value: 2.58x
Bet $19.00 Win, return $106.40
Why Maps to land where winners live at the Valley — and he’s got the class to boss this.
2. Tactical Command (No.2) — $7.10 / $2.40
Prob 37.3% | Value: 1.09x
Bet $6.00 Place, return $14.40
Why Even if the winner’s too good, he can clunk on into the top three with a decent run.
3. Fortune Whiskey (No.4) — $6.60 / $1.90
Prob 39.7% | Value: 0.92x
Bet No Bet
Why Needs tempo + gaps — we’re already spending the ammo elsewhere.

Roughie: Giant Ballon (No.5) — $3.70 / $1.60
Prob 53.6% | Value: 1.05x
Bet No Bet
Why If he gets cover midfield and they overdo it up front, he’s a sit-and-sprint place machine.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 1, 2, 4, 5 — $15
Why The race funnels through these profiles — box them and let the Valley do its thing.

Punty's Pick: Giant Ballon (No.5) $1.60 Place
Short price, but he’s the “don’t overthink it” ticket.

Race 6 – The Unbeaten Hype Train

Race type: Class 3, 1200m
Map & tempo: Genuine; plenty want the front half, so positioning is gold
Punty read: No.5 Romantic Gladiator is the talking point — unbeaten and looks like he’s got a motor. But this is Class 3 at the Valley: pressure, corners, and grown-ups. No.7 Flying Wrote gets the inside and can hold a spot — if he pinches a break at the bend, he can be a pain in the arse to run down. The rest are capable, but they’ll need the favourite to have a horror night or get buried.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Flying Wrote (No.7) — $4.20 / $1.60
Prob 13.4% | Value: 0.69x
Bet $15.00 Win, return $63.00
Why Barrier helps, maps to be in the fight early, and can kick off the bend if the leader overcooks it.
2. Sports Legend (No.2) — $4.40 / $1.80
Prob 36.2% | Value: 0.80x
Bet No Bet
Why Right in the mix on map, but not enough buffer for the place play tonight.
3. Symbol Of Strength (No.3) — $6.00 / $1.70
Prob 33.9% | Value: 0.71x
Bet No Bet
Why Can stalk and strike, but we’ve already picked our battles.

Roughie: Romantic Gladiator (No.5) — $9.00 / $3.30
Prob 73.0% | Value: 2.96x
Bet No Bet
Why If he’s as good as the hype, he just parks, peels, and puts them away like it’s a training gallop.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 5, 7, 2, 3 — $15
Why The favourite’s the anchor, and the rest are the logical “who runs second/third” types in a pressure 1200m.

Punty's Pick: Trifecta Box [5, 7, 2, 3] — $20 (Value: 2.7x)
If the gun wins, this is how we get paid around him.

Race 7 – The Chaos Kitchen (1650m C4)

Race type: Class 4, 1650m
Map & tempo: Moderate; plenty of traffic, and the pace disadvantaged runners will need luck
Punty read: This is the race that ruins families. The favourite’s short-ish but it’s not a race with a “moral”. No.10 Kolachi has the right map look on paper, but he’s got to actually show up. No.5 Glorious Journey is the price runner I want to be with — can stalk midfield and hit the line if the leaders get cute. No.2 Aestheticism is a proper blowout profile: gets back, needs tempo, and needs gaps.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Kolachi (No.10) — $11.00 / $3.10
Prob 31.5% | Value: 1.19x
Bet No Bet
Why He can absolutely run a race… but the place safety net isn’t fat enough.
2. Glorious Journey (No.5) — $9.30 / $2.80
Prob 11.2% | Value: 1.28x
Bet $15.00 Win, return $139.50
Why Maps to get the right stalking run — if the gaps come, he’s the one launching late.
3. Aestheticism (No.2) — $24.00 / $7.10
Prob 14.3% | Value: 1.24x
Bet No Bet
Why Big quote, big need for luck — but he’s not impossible if they stack them up and sprint.

Roughie: Noble Pursuit (No.4) — $11.00 / $4.00
Prob 22.0% | Value: 1.07x
Bet No Bet
Why If he gets any sort of cart into it from midfield, he’s the one who can loom and pinch it.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 4, 10, 1, 5 — $15
Why This is the Valley 1650m traffic lottery — box the main players and let the race decide the order.

Punty's Pick: Kolachi (No.10) $3.10 Place
Even in a chaos race, he’s the one most likely to be in the first three if he behaves.

Race 8 – The Hot Tempo Special

Race type: Class 3, 1200m
Map & tempo: Hot; multiple leaders, genuine burn early
Punty read: This is speed on speed on speed. If they go nuts early, the stalkers and closers get their chance to swoop. No.1 Lucky Planet has the kind of profile that can keep rolling if he gets his own way — but with this many pushing forward, it won’t be easy. No.3 Pegas is the “hang around and pounce” type and looks a safer top-three shape. No.8 Storming Dragon is the obvious place angle — even if he doesn’t win, he can be charging at the line.

Top 3 + Roughie ($20.00 pool)

1. Lucky Planet (No.1) — $5.40 / $5.40
Prob 18.9% | Value: 1.25x
Bet $14.00 Win, return $75.60
Why If he crosses and breathes, he can take a stack of running down around this joint.
2. Pegas (No.3) — $6.10 / $2.90
Prob 39.6% | Value: 1.08x
Bet $6.00 Place, return $17.40
Why Hot tempo suits him to stalk and keep finding late — good “survive the burn” type.
3. Storming Dragon (No.8) — $3.60 / $2.00
Prob 48.7% | Value: 0.92x
Bet No Bet
Why Will be running on — but we’re already invested with the win + place combo.

Roughie: Amazing Kid (No.9) — $9.00 / $3.20
Prob 30.6% | Value: 0.92x
Bet No Bet
Why If he lands a soft trail and the leaders crack, he’s the one who can pop out and steal it late.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 9, 1, 3, 8 — $15
Why Hot tempo can throw up a weird top three — box the speed plus the main chasers.

Punty's Pick: Storming Dragon (No.8) $2.00 Place
Hot speed and a strong finisher — that’s a place recipe at the Valley.

Race 9 – The Nightcap Sting (1650m C3)

Race type: Class 3, 1650m
Map & tempo: Genuine; No.9 rolls, and the on-pace brigade will get their chance
Punty read: This is the kind of closer where you want to be with horses who can hold a spot and kick — because if you’re spotting them turning in, you’ll be making excuses like a politician. No.11 Withallmyfaith looks like the best “sit close and punch” play. No.3 Corleone is the place leverage type: on-pace, tough, and in the finish more often than not. If the leader gets brave, the whole race changes shape — but I’d rather be on the stalkers than chasing from last.

Top 3 + Roughie ($25.00 pool)

1. Withallmyfaith (No.11) — $6.80 / $2.30
Prob 22.5% | Value: 1.87x
Bet $14.50 Win, return $98.60
Why Maps to land in the right pocket — and if he gets a split, he can go bang.
2. Corleone (No.3) — $7.50 / $2.80
Prob 49.9% | Value: 1.70x
Bet $10.50 Place, return $29.40
Why On-pace and hard to budge — the exact type you want for a Valley place play.
3. Fivefortwo (No.7) — $5.90 / $1.90
Prob 26.1% | Value: 0.60x
Bet No Bet
Why Can run top three, but we’re already covered with the better value angles.

Roughie: Another Zonda (No.12) — $20.00 / $6.40
Prob 13.0% | Value: 1.01x
Bet No Bet
Why If the tempo collapses and they come wide, he’s the one who can swoop into the trifecta at a filthy price.

Degenerate Exotic of the Race

Trifecta Box: 11, 3, 7, 12 — $15
Why Strong place profile for No.3, winning profile for No.11, and enough chaos behind them to box up the result.

Punty's Pick: Corleone (No.3) $2.80 Place
Tough on-pace type — if he’s not top three, something very weird has happened.

SEQUENCE LANES — SINGLE OPTIMISED TICKET

QUADDIE (Races 6–9)

Smart: 5, 7, 2 / 4, 10, 5, 2 / 9, 1, 3 / 11, 3, 12, 7 (144 combos x $0.31 = $45) — 31% flexi
Punty's take: Fun ticket but it’s high-wire stuff — Race 7 is the gremlin leg, so don’t cry to me if it explodes.

NUGGETS FROM THE TRACK

1 - The C-Course Squeeze
Valley on the C can punish wide runs hard — if your pick is spotting them ground around the turn, you’re basically punting with oven mitts.
2 - Race 6 Is The Hype Race
Romantic Gladiator is the kind of horse who can make good horses look ordinary — if he’s the real deal, the exotics get paid around him.
3 - The Gear-Change Circus Late
Keep an eye on the “new look” runners (first-time changes and removals) — sometimes they’re nothing… sometimes they’re the plot twist in the final act like The Sixth Sense.

FINAL WORD FROM THE DEGEN DEN

Don’t try to be a hero in the chaos races — take your spots, trust the map, and if you’re chasing losses by Race 7 you’re already in the danger zone. Gamble Responsibly.

Punty's Wrap-Up

The Wrap Happy Valley - Trifecta saved the tab

One filthy little Trifecta in Race 2 basically kept the lights on, then Gameplayer Elite jagged the saver in Race 4 like a mate shouting the last round. Big 3 Multi got bodied (again), but we still walked out in front thanks to the degen maths. Track headline: position and cover mattered all night — the Valley C-course squeeze had plenty of runners doing the scenic route for no reward.

How It Unfolded

Early doors it was pretty much what we flagged: tight turns, not much room, and if you weren’t in the first handful with a smother you were living on prayers. A couple of races looked like they’d be “map-and-dash” jobs, but the pressure in the 1200s kept forcing blokes to make decisions way earlier than they wanted.

Mid-to-late, it didn’t totally flip, but it got a bit less “rail-or-bust” and more “find clean air and launch.” The preview read on the Valley being a go-kart track still held — the ones posted deep or caught three-wide no cover were basically pushing a trolley up Parramatta Road.

The Scoreboard

Winners (Straight-Out)

R4 Gameplayer Elite — $9.50 Saver Win @ $3.45 → +$23.27
R3 Ace War — $7.50 Place @ $1.60 → +$4.50

Exotics That Landed

R2 Trifecta Box 6,2,11,9 — $20 | div $501.00 → +$397.50

Big 3 Multi Result

Missed.
Race 5 No.1 Giant Leap ran 2nd (the classic “yeah mate, good effort” medal).
Race 6 No.5 Romantic Gladiator didn’t fire.
Race 9 No.11 Withallmyfaith ran 5th — never got the dream Valley split.

Punty's Picks — How'd They Go?

  • R1: Kasa Papa Saver Win — 10th, never landed a cosy spot and when the sprint went on he was already chasing. Trifecta box also missed — we didn’t have the winner in the seat.
  • R2: Only U Win — 2nd, did plenty right but got rolled late. (This is where the night got saved though: our Trifecta box landed and we got paid like a bandit.)
  • R3: Serangoon Win — 7th, sit-sprint didn’t suit; when they quickened he was under the pump before it mattered. Ace War place landed, thankfully.
  • R4: Genius Baby Win — 2nd, stalked into it but the winner got the run of the race and kicked. Gameplayer Elite saver got us out of jail.
  • R5: Giant Leap Win — 2nd, looked the bully on paper but Giant Ballon was the real pub bouncer and shoved him out of the way late. Tactical Command place never went a yard (9th).
  • R6: Flying Wrote Win — 2nd, nearly pinched it but Symbol Of Strength nabbed him on the line; Romantic Gladiator hype train derailed completely.
  • R7: Glorious Journey Win — 2nd, absolute heartbreaker: travelled, peaked, got nailed late. Kolachi (our “safe” look) was a total no-show (10th).
  • R8: Lucky Planet Win — 6th, pace/shape didn’t let him bully them; the burn set it up for something swooping/peeling out at the right time. Pegas place missed as well.
  • R9: Withallmyfaith Win — 5th, never got the sit-and-pounce dream; Corleone place ran 8th and was cooked when the real pressure went on.
Punty's Picks: 3/26 hit for +$47.27

What We Learned — The Factors That Mattered

First and loudest: Happy Valley C course is still a knife fight in a phone booth. If you’re not in the first wave with cover, you’re relying on miracles — and miracles are for Disney movies, not midweek Hong Kong handicaps. Our best results came when we either (a) found a horse that could hold a spot, or (b) built the bet around the likely runners who’d get the right run.

Second: “nearly” is the most expensive word in punting. We collected a stack of seconds — Only U (R2), Genius Baby (R4), Giant Leap (R5), Flying Wrote (R6), Glorious Journey (R7). That’s not bad punting, that’s bad collecting. In these Valley races, if you’re consistently landing the podium but not winning, you’ve got to think harder about place leverage, or using the win plays inside exotics instead of going full hero.

The big miss factor: hype horses in pressure cookers. Romantic Gladiator (R6) looked like the standout profile in the preview, but Class 3 at the Valley with genuine heat is where unbeaten records go to get tested. If they don’t get the smother and the timing, they can go from “future star” to “stiffed in traffic” real quick.

The day-defining factor was positioning and clean air. Not just leaders — leaders with a breather, or stalkers who could peel at the right time. Next time you’re punting the Valley on C: prioritise barrier + map + who gets cover, and be careful backing horses that need to go back and circle the field. You can do it… but you’ll need the race to fall to bits and the lanes to open like the Red Sea.

Track Read — How The Map Played Out

Tempo did what we expected: the sprints had enough pressure that you couldn’t just assume the leader would pinch it, but you also couldn’t be spotting them six at the bend and expect to blouse them. Winners were the ones who either controlled the speed properly or got the right cart into it before launching.

The key tactical theme was “save ground, then go.” The Valley punished the passengers who got posted or had to switch three times — by the time they balanced up, the race was already over. When in doubt here: back rides, not vibes.

Closing We didn’t exactly look like prophets with the Big 3, but the Trifecta in Race 2 was an absolute bailout job and got us home for a collect. Takeaway: keep respecting the Valley map, and don’t be afraid to turn your “nearly horses” into place/exotic anchors. We go again next meeting — same chaos, same sickos, hopefully less seconditis. Gamble Responsibly.
