It's a wet-track card with the rail +4m and showers floating around like an annoying commentator. Expect big paws, ground-saving tactics, and plenty of horses getting "held up" (aka not getting the memo that the race started).
Punters, the theme today is simple: in Heavy 10, the winners don't just have class… they have shape. Who can get into it without burning matches early, who can grind through traffic, and who's ready to loom late like a Marvel villain with fresh legs.
What I like most? The card's giving us a nice spine across the night:

Heavy 10 at Gosford is the great equaliser… and also the great liar. It makes everyone's "last start form" feel like it was written on a napkin in the rain. So I'm focusing on the stuff that survives the chaos: pace map, barrier position, and who's actually built to handle slow sections.
Race 1 (the 1600m maiden) is a perfect example: the pace is slow, so you don't need to be a rocket ship early, you need to be available mid-race. Mr Bohemian (No.8) has the profile to swoop and chew through traffic late, and the market's got some weird energy around it.
Then Race 3: Remember Jack (No.5) at 1100m is the classic Heavy 10 "do not overthink it" type. He's got enough early to be in the race, and enough ability to keep grinding when others start drowning in their own momentum.
Race 5 is where I'm getting greedy. Tigroni (No.12) is the headline in a maiden sprint and the market's treating it like business as usual, when a short-priced horse holds court at Gosford in Heavy, you back the machine.
What it means for you:
Today's strategy is: be aggressive where the race shape makes sense, and be picky where it doesn't. If a horse maps to be on the speed or stalking without getting pinned wide in the muck, that's where you push. If they look like they'll be stuck three-wide with a mouth full of slop, let someone else donate.
