This track is a Soft 6, but don't romanticise it. It's still Queanbeyan, which means you want to be near the action early, or you better be a weapon when the kettle boils. The rail is out enough to save a few horses from being stuck in a backyard driveway, but when it cuts away, the wind can whip the field around and you'll see some "held together by prayers" rides.

Race 1 is the classic early-leaders vs market-shortener showdown. Hellfighter is the one I'd trust to keep putting in, even if it's not a romantic story. The way this sort of race gets run on soft tracks, the favourite can get there, but the value is often in the "keeps finding" type, not the "one big kick and you're done" one.

Then Race 4 and Race 6 are where you can smell the lanes for a quaddie ticket, because those are built like pressurised sprints. La Stiava in Race 4, and Aegipan plus Dawn On Me in Race 6, they're the sorts that get dragged into the right race shape.
