This is a Soft 6 where the early speed matters, but the real cheat code is avoiding the "wrong pocket" run. You can feel it in the races already, the maps are slow pace in multiple events, so the horses that can sit third, then peel out with a run, are the ones that cash. If you get stuck three wide with no cover, you're burning extra fuel for fuck all.
Race 1 is a two-horse story with Wild Monarch leading the charge and Last Metaphor sitting there like the mate who tells you the odds are wrong. Then Race 3 at 1600m, Gemtiki is the value speed that still gets a run through in these conditions, while Woodrow is the one that keeps the exotics honest when the track has you chasing form.
By Race 4, it's all about River Jordan being able to handle the Soft and still go forward enough to take control. And in the back half, don't overthink the market: when the odds drift but the horse is on the pace profile, it can mean traffic risk rather than ability risk. That's where you nick the placings.
What it means for you:
Don't get cute early. If a horse is mapping to sit handy and the price is fair, back it like you mean it. The big value opportunities are mostly on the place side too, because Soft 6 races tend to bunch up late, and that's where fourth to second turn into first to second with one clean passage.
