Alright, this meeting's basically a wet-shirt battle where the sharp ones can get enough in the bank early, and the ones that chase smart can still slice through late. Synthetic at Awapuni is usually honest, but the rain makes people overthink, over-grip, and over-correct in the saddle. That's where you make money, by ignoring the panic and trusting the pace map that makes sense.
My three-race spine is built on horses that either lead with intent, or sit on the right part of the track where they can pounce when runners around them get tired or boxed in. Then I've got one roughie sprinkled in each race, because today needs a degenerate decision or two, not a spreadsheet prayer.
If you're looking for "value" today, it's in the places where the market is either too brave or too scared. When rain hits, sometimes the best move is backing the one that has shown they keep doing their job when everyone else is busy surviving.
