For all of Punty's tips for Bendigo, head to https://punty.ai/tips/bendigo-2026-10-28

Rightio Ratbags, Bendigo's on a Soft 7 with 6mm in the last 24 hours and 26mm over the week, so the ground is plenty tacky and the staying races will be a proper grind. Nine races, 121 runners, three scratchings, and the one thing I'd have you tattooed on your arm is this: the Cup-day fancy is a short price, and the value is sitting in the middle of the card where the punters are asleep.

MEET SNAPSHOT

Track: Bendigo, 1000m to 2400m card
Rail: True Entire Circuit
Official going: Soft 7 (6mm last 24 hours, 26mm last 7 days)
Weather: Fine, live gusts 33.3km/h
Early lane guess: Unknown pre-race, watch the first two.
Tempo profile: Race 1 is a moderate tempo with Running Rich and Tandarra the only leaders in the data. Races 2, 5, 6 and 8 are genuine pace. Race 3 and Race 9 are hot pace, so the closers should get a look-in there. Race 4 is a slow pace where the backmarkers have to work hard.
Jockeys to follow:
Damian Lane (7 rides): He's got Vixen Vibes in the opener, Lawborough in Race 6 and Jenni You Think in Race 5, so he's all over the card and the one to watch for the sharp rides.
Ethan Brown (7 rides): Scoville in Race 1, Yes Yoshi in Race 6 and Hiyaam Proud in Race 9 put him right in the middle of the staked bets.
Craig Williams (4 rides): Purgatorio in Race 2, Cushioned in Race 5 and See That Storm in Race 8 are three of the four.
Stables to respect:
C Maher (9 runners): Scoville in Race 1, Melek in Race 4, Jenni You Think in Race 5 and Kings Valley in Race 8 mean the nine-runner stable is the biggest team on the card.
Ben, Will & Jd Hayes (7 runners): Resonant in Race 1, Savannah Chill in Race 5 and Ka Ying Cheer in Race 6 are the ones with some pop in the market.
M M Laurie (5 runners): Hiyaam Proud and Shaalute in Race 9 are the two I'd watch, with Imperial Award in Race 7 the other one on the card.

Punty's take: Bendigo has handed us a card of two halves, and I reckon you'll know which half is which before the first bell. Race 1 and Race 2 both have a bit of pace up front, but neither is going to be a runaway, so the speed map won't do all the heavy lifting. Race 3 is the one where the hot pace pulls the leaders back and the closers come into it, which is why Semantics and Yukaina being in the same race as Savoyard matters so much. Race 4 is a slow-motion 2400m where the front-runners and the mid-pack will sit on each other, and that's a race that could be chaos or could be a bloody parade depending on who wants to make it a contest.

Race 6 is the banker I'd tell my mates to look at, with Yes Yoshi holding the top of the market at $2.64 and the other runners sitting well behind on the price. Race 7 looks like the tidy race of the day on the market, but it's full of backmarkers and ON-PACE types who all want to be in the same spot, so it's a dogfight. Race 8 is the feature with a genuine pace, and So You Are is the horse the form says is most ready to win. Race 9 is the hot-pace finish where the leaders get run down, and Bel Mezyaan is the one on the cheapest price who has the speed figures to finish the job.

What it means for you: Be aggressive where the price is backing the horse I'm staking, and protect the Big 3 with the multi. The Big 3 in Race 7, Race 6 and Race 2 are the three most likely winners on the card, and that's the spine of the day. Race 6 is the banker race where I'm happy to back the favourite and not overthink it. Races 3, 4 and 9 are where the chaos lives, so you can afford to spread out in the sequences if you want to chase a big return. Only back what the locked bets say, and if you're going to play the quaddies, keep them small because the flexi on the Big 6 is thin.

PUNTY'S BIG 3 + MULTI

These are the three bets the day leans on.

1 - Dirty Look (Race 7, No.3) — $2.15
Why Barrier 8 is no drama for a horse that's won its last start at Cranbourne and goes to a 1300m trip that suits him. The market has him as the clear short price for a reason.
2 - Yes Yoshi (Race 6, No.11) — $2.64
Why Cross-over nose band off and nose roll on for the first time, 150 days off and a Good record of 4 starts for 2 wins, so the bloke can handle the track when the rest of the field is falling apart.
3 - Purgatorio (Race 2, No.3) — $3.20
Why Second last start at Geelong, a soft-track record of 1 start for 1 second, and a weight form that reads 1 win from 2 at 57kg, which is about as good as this field gets for a benchmark 64 horse.
Multi (all three to win): $10 × 18.16 = $181.60

Race 1 – RSN Bendigo 945am Mdn Plate

Race type: Maiden, 1000m
Map & tempo: Moderate Pace. Running Rich (LEADER) and Tandarra (LEADER) are the only leaders in the data. Resonant (MIDFIELD), Scoville (MIDFIELD) and Takasago (MIDFIELD) sit in the mid-pack. Magnusaurus Rex (BACKMARKER) and Vixen Vibes (BACKMARKER) are at the back. Hot Samba's map is UNKNOWN, so I'm not placing him.
Punty read: Scoville is the one I'm backing. Second last start at Ballarat in a 1000m race, a sprint record of 1 start for 1 second, and a mid-pack spot in a moderate tempo that lets him sit three or four wide without much chase. The price has him at $2.84, and in a maiden I'd rather have that than a wide-open lottery. Resonant is the danger. He's the one the price has drifted and the form line points at a bounce, and Ben, Will & Jd Hayes have the momentum. Magnusaurus Rex is the one to watch from the back, since the late sectionals are the strongest in the field.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Scoville (No.6) — $2.84 / $1.25
Bet $15.00 Win, return $42.60
Prob 25.6% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.73x Steady since tip
Why Second at Ballarat in a 1000m race, mid-pack in a moderate tempo, and C Maher has the runners on the board.
2. Resonant (No.2) — $3.80 / $1.45
Bet Tracked
Prob 22.1% | Place: 48.6% | Value: 0.84x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.45 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Magnusaurus Rex (No.1) — $4.80 / $1.62
Bet Tracked
Prob 17.7% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.85x Steady since tip
Why Second at Echuca last start with the strongest late sectionals on the card, but he's a backmarker so he needs the speed to fall over in front of him.

Roughie: Vixen Vibes (No.8) — $18.00 / $3.60
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.9% | Place: 24.0% | Value: 0.89x Steady since tip
Why Second at Morphettville last start and a soft-track win record of 1 start for 1 win, so if the leaders go flat out she can run on from the back.

Race 2 – Catanachs Jewellers (Bm64)

Race type: Benchmark 64, 1300m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace. Nickibi (LEADER) is the only leader in the data. Purgatorio (MIDFIELD) and Hydro Rush (MIDFIELD) sit in the mid-pack. Centenary Florin (ON-PACE) and Sound Byte (ON-PACE) are just behind the speed. Sunbliss (BACKMARKER) is the closer.
Punty read: Purgatorio is the one I'm backing. He's second last start at Geelong, a soft-track record of 1 start for 1 second, and a weight form that reads 1 win from 2 at 57kg. Craig Williams takes the ride with A & S Freedman's yard in good order. The danger is Sunbliss, who has the fastest L600 and L400 sectionals in the field and comes off the speed the way the pace maps like. Sound Byte is one to watch on the cheapest play from ON-PACE.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.92 pool)

1. Purgatorio (No.3) — $3.30 / $1.70
Bet $10.92 Win, return $36.04
Prob 27.9% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.92x Steady since tip
Why Second at Geelong last start, Craig Williams on board and a middle-of-the-pack spot in a genuine pace race that suits him.
2. Sunbliss (No.5) — $3.60 / $1.75
Bet Tracked
Prob 25.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.90x Steady since tip
Why Only two places paid in a field this size, and skinny place divvies make savers a mug's game — this is a win-only race. Tracked, not staked.
3. Sound Byte (No.6) — $4.80 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 15.7% | Place: 38.8% | Value: 0.75x Steady since tip
Why Won at Kilmore last start and sits on the speed, but he's got to beat a genuine pace to win.

Roughie: Nickibi (No.2) — $10.00 / $3.50
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.8% | Place: 22.5% | Value: 0.78x Steady since tip
Why Won at Moe last start and is the lone leader, so if the race stays genuine and nobody wants the lead, he gets a soft run to the line.

Race 3 – Wild Plumbing (Bm66)

Race type: Benchmark 66, 1100m
Map & tempo: Hot Pace. Romantic Miss (LEADER), Yukaina (LEADER) and Semantics (LEADER) are the three leaders. The Shaper (ON-PACE), Purple Streak (ON-PACE), Sussex Duchess (ON-PACE) and Pure Passion (ON-PACE) are just behind. Savoyard (MIDFIELD) is one of the closers. Sea Poem (BACKMARKER) is the closer at the back.
Punty read: Semantics is the one I'm backing. He's the leader, won at Bendigo last start over 1000m, and the sectionals show the time is fastest in the field. The hot pace means the three leaders are going to fight it out, so he needs to hold his position and survive. The danger is Savoyard, who sits mid-pack and has the fastest L600 and L400 sectionals in the field, so if the pace collapses in front of him he's going to be a lot harder to beat than the prices suggest.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.00 pool)

1. Semantics (No.15) — $3.50 / $1.60
Bet $10.00 Win, return $35.00
Prob 18.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.63x Steady since tip
Why Won at Bendigo last start over 1000m, the fastest time on the card and the cross-over nose band goes on for the first time.
2. Savoyard (No.3) — $7.40 / $2.50
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.3% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.98x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.50 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Yukaina (No.5) — $5.20 / $2.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.6% | Place: 38.8% | Value: 0.66x Steady since tip
Why Second at Hamilton last start and a leader, so if the other two burn each other out, she's the one on the front.

Roughie: Sea Poem (No.7) — $13.00 / $3.50
Bet Tracked
Prob 6.1% | Place: 24.1% | Value: 0.80x Steady since tip
Why Fourth at Ballarat last start and the time rank is strong, so if the three leaders blow up in a hot pace, she can get home from the back.

Race 4 – BRB Electrical (Bm66)

Race type: Benchmark 66, 2400m
Map & tempo: Slow Pace. Yahoo Bar (MIDFIELD), Pee Bee Noir (ON-PACE) and Hula Beat (MIDFIELD) are the advantaged runners. Salsita, Melek and Fuwari are the disadvantaged runners. Melek (BACKMARKER) is at the back in a slow race, which is the honest headache with my top pick.
Punty read: Melek is the one I'm backing. Third at Seymour last start, second at Ballarat, and a 2000m record that says he's a stayer who can run on. The slow pace is a genuine concern because it puts him on the wrong side of the map, and I'm not pretending otherwise. The danger is Yahoo Bar, who is in the advantaged group and finished second at Seymour last start. Verifier is the one to watch from the back, with a tongue tie back on and the staying record to match.

Top 3 + Roughie ($6.00 pool)

1. Melek (No.7) — $2.74 / $1.40
Bet $6.00 Win, return $16.44
Prob 19.8% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.54x Steady since tip
Why Third at Seymour and second at Ballarat over 2000m, with the staying form to carry him through the slow pace.
2. Yahoo Bar (No.1) — $7.00 / $2.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.0% | Place: 38.8% | Value: 0.98x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.40 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Verifier (No.18) — $8.00 / $2.65
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.4% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.83x Steady since tip
Why Second at Swan Hill over 2400m last start and a staying profile that likes a long trip, with the tongue tie back on.

Roughie: No Rumours (No.4) — $12.00 / $3.70
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.3% | Place: 26.9% | Value: 0.87x Steady since tip
Why Tongue tie and visors both come off for the first time, and he's a backmarker in a slow race, so if the leaders get in each other's way he can make up ground late.

Race 5 – Prestige Event Hire (Bm70)

Race type: Benchmark 70, 1600m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace. Itsukushima (LEADER) is the only leader in the data. Expeetee (ON-PACE), Brung King (ON-PACE) and Highly Intrigued (ON-PACE) sit just off the speed. Cushioned (MIDFIELD), Jenni You Think (MIDFIELD) and Kiwi Jenni (BACKMARKER) are the closers.
Punty read: Cushioned is the one I'm backing, and it's an each-way bet because the market is wide open. He's in the advantaged group, Craig Williams is on, and his soft record is 4 starts for 1 win and 1 second. He's been on the grind lately and hasn't won in a while, so the place is the safer bit. The danger is Jenni You Think, who is a mid-pack closer with Damian Lane aboard. Kiwi Jenni is one to watch with the blinkers off for the first time, and a market that has moved from $8.00 to $6.40.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.00 pool)

1. Cushioned (No.11) — $5.20 / $1.95
Bet $10.00 Each Way ($5.00W + $5.00P), collects $35.75 if it wins ($26.00 win + $9.75 place), $9.75 if it only places
Prob 14.8% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.77x Steady since tip
Why Fourth at Cranbourne last start over 1600m, a 4kg drop in weight from last start, and he's in the group the pace is set up for.
2. Jenni You Think (No.12) — $4.40 / $1.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.7% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Kiwi Jenni (No.13) — $6.40 / $2.25
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.2% | Place: 45.9% | Value: 0.91x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers off for the first time, the market has come in from $8.00 to $6.40, and she's finished fourth at Geelong last start.

Roughie: Savannah Chill (No.7) — $12.00 / $3.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.2% | Place: 28.0% | Value: 0.86x Steady since tip
Why Won at Cranbourne last start and the trainer has been hot on the card, so if the speed burns out in front she's a fair play to run on.

Race 6 – Bendigo Locksmiths (Bm78)

Race type: Benchmark 78, 1100m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace. Weapon Clear (LEADER) is the only leader in the data. Wingsandpropellers (ON-PACE) and Lawborough (ON-PACE) are the two closest to the speed. Yes Yoshi (MIDFIELD), Ka Ying Cheer (MIDFIELD) and Yolo (MIDFIELD) sit mid-pack. Dirty Grin and Per Sempre are at the back.
Punty read: Yes Yoshi is the one I'm backing. He's got the best market support on the card and the price has held at $2.64. He's fourth at Caulfield last start, the nose band comes off and the nose roll goes on for the first time, and the good-track record reads 4 starts for 2 wins. Lawborough is the danger because he's on the speed with Damian Lane, and his time rank is strong. Yolo is one to watch from mid-pack, having won twice at Ballarat over 1000m.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Yes Yoshi (No.11) — $2.64 / $1.37
Bet $15.00 Win, return $39.60
Prob 31.1% | Place: 60.8% | Value: 0.82x Steady since tip
Why Nose band off and nose roll on for the first time, fastest sectionals in the field and a good-track record of 4 starts for 2 wins.
2. Lawborough (No.10) — $3.40 / $1.57
Bet Tracked
Prob 22.1% | Place: 51.3% | Value: 0.75x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.57 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Wingsandpropellers (No.6) — $10.00 / $2.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.8% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.98x Steady since tip
Why Won at Tatura over 850m and the market has come from $12.00 to $10.00, so he's worth a look if the front-runners go too hard.

Roughie: Yolo (No.8) — $10.00 / $2.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.3% | Place: 28.0% | Value: 0.73x Steady since tip
Why Won twice at Ballarat over 1000m and the market has come in from $12.00 to $10.00, so if Yes Yoshi gets rolled he's got the form to take advantage.

Race 7 – Jarrod Larkin Concreting (Bm70)

Race type: Benchmark 70, 1300m
Map & tempo: Moderate Pace. No clear leader in the data. ON-PACE runners are Alero, Imperial Award, Acelum, Razzo Rosso, Wolf Twenty One, Small Town Hero, Blue Bandit, Jamesjohno and Princess Toro. Zourain (MIDFIELD), Flying Embers (MIDFIELD) and Tsarine (MIDFIELD) are the mid-pack runners. Dirty Look (BACKMARKER) and Legacy Bay (BACKMARKER) are the closers.
Punty read: Dirty Look is the one I'm backing. He's won at Cranbourne last start over 1400m, the fastest L600 and L400 sectionals in the field, and the market has come in from $2.15 to... hold on, his current price is $2.15 and that's the price on the board. He's a backmarker in a moderate pace, which is the best way to close without having to lead. The danger is Tsarine, who has the best soft-track record of the mid-pack runners, but he's failed to win at 60kg. Legacy Bay is one to watch from the back, having gone 0 from 3 at 58-59kg, so the weight warning is there.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)

1. Dirty Look (No.3) — $2.20 / $1.25
Bet $10.50 Win, return $23.10
Prob 31.9% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.70x Steady since tip
Why Won at Cranbourne over 1400m last start, fastest L600 and L400 sectionals in the field, and a 2kg rise in weight is the only blemish.
2. Tsarine (No.11) — $4.00 / $1.70
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.3% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.70 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Legacy Bay (No.14) — $9.00 / $2.85
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.1% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.91x Steady since tip
Why Ninth at Seymour last start after being bumped and hampered at Caulfield, and the market has come in from $10.00 to $9.00.

Roughie: Alero (No.1) — $11.00 / $3.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.9% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 1.09x Steady since tip
Why Won at Bendigo over 1100m and he's on the speed, so if the ON-PACE group burns out and the closers get home, he needs to hold on.

Race 8 – Ladbrokes Bendigo Cup

Race type: Open, 2400m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace. The Euphrates (LEADER) is the only leader in the data. So You Are (ON-PACE), Litzdeel (ON-PACE), Machine Gun Gracie (ON-PACE) sit just off the speed. See That Storm (MIDFIELD), Starford (MIDFIELD) and Affluential (MIDFIELD) are in the mid-pack. Kings Valley (BACKMARKER), Soulcombe (BACKMARKER) and Taramansour (BACKMARKER) are at the back.
Punty read: So You Are is the one I'm backing, and it's an each-way bet. He's won at Randwick over 2600m last start, the soft-track record is 13 starts for 3 wins and 5 seconds, and Rachel King is aboard with a strike rate that's hot at this track. He's on the speed in a genuine pace, which is the right spot for a horse that's built for a staying test. The danger is Kings Valley, who has the fastest L600 and L400 sectionals in the field and a market that has come in from $4.20 to $3.10. The Euphrates is the danger from the front, and he's on the lead with Jett Stanley.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. So You Are (No.4) — $5.00 / $1.95
Bet $15.00 Each Way ($7.50W + $7.50P), collects $52.13 if it wins ($37.50 win + $14.63 place), $14.63 if it only places
Prob 22.2% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.11x Steady since tip
Why Won at Randwick over 2600m last start, the soft-track record is strong and Rachel King is hot at this track.
2. Kings Valley (No.6) — $3.10 / $1.52
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.4% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.42x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. The Euphrates (No.2) — $8.50 / $2.85
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.6% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 1.07x Steady since tip
Why He's the lone leader in a genuine pace, but he finished tenth at Geelong last start, so he needs the race to set up for him.

Roughie: See That Storm (No.10) — $12.00 / $3.60
Bet Tracked
Prob 6.6% | Place: 24.4% | Value: 0.79x Steady since tip
Why Third at Caulfield last start, the market has drifted from $9.50 to $12.00, and Craig Williams in the mid-pack gives him the late run if the leaders tire.

Race 9 – The Sporting Globe After The Last (MCC Series Heat 8, Bm78)

Race type: Benchmark 78, 1400m
Map & tempo: Hot Pace. Black Storm, Van Roy, Rosa Aotearoa, Chest Of Gold and Flying Basil are all LEADER runners, so this race goes off hard. Hiyaam Proud (ON-PACE), Coco Jen (ON-PACE) and Charming Deel (ON-PACE) sit just behind. Silver Bullet (MIDFIELD) and Shaalute (MIDFIELD) are in the mid-pack. Bel Mezyaan (BACKMARKER) and Col Klink (BACKMARKER) are the closers.
Punty read: Bel Mezyaan is the one I'm backing. He's the favourite at $2.30 and the best closing sectionals in the field, the L400 and time are both fastest. Daniel Stackhouse is aboard and the soft-track record is 2 wins from 7 starts. The pace map has backmarkers on the wrong side of the ledger, so this is a short price with a hard job. The danger is Hiyaam Proud, who is on the speed and sits in the advantaged group, and Rosa Aotearoa, who is the one I'd want to see holding the front in a hot pace.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)

1. Bel Mezyaan (No.11) — $2.35 / $1.32
Bet $10.50 Win, return $24.68
Prob 21.4% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.50x Steady since tip
Why Fastest L400 and time sectionals on the card, and Daniel Stackhouse has a combo strike rate that's solid at this track.
2. Rosa Aotearoa (No.6) — $4.60 / $1.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.8% | Place: 38.8% | Value: 0.59x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.90 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Hiyaam Proud (No.3) — $9.00 / $3.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.0% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.90x Steady since tip
Why Fifth at Seymour last start and in the advantaged group, so the hot pace suits him if he can get a trip without being squeezed.

Roughie: Silver Bullet (No.15) — $10.00 / $3.30
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.8% | Place: 30.0% | Value: 0.78x Steady since tip
Why Won at Pakenham over 1400m and the market has drifted from $8.00 to $10.00, so if the leaders collapse in the hot pace he's in the right place.

SEQUENCE LANES

EARLY QUADDIE (R2–R5)

Smart: 3,5,6 / 15,5,3,7,4 / 7,1,18,4 / 11,13,12,7 (240 combos x $0.30 = $72.00) -- 30% flexi
Punty's take: Race 2 and Race 3 are tight enough to play, but Race 4 and Race 5 are wide open, so the ticket relies on the chaos to pay. 36.1% flexi, so it's a solid play with a payout that depends on the wide legs landing.

QUADDIE (R6–R9)

Smart: 11,10,6,8 / 3,11,1 / 4,6,2,10 / 11,3,6,15 (192 combos x $0.33854 = $65.00) -- 33.9% flexi
Punty's take: Race 6 and Race 7 are the tight legs with Yes Yoshi and Dirty Look carrying the risk, while Race 8 and Race 9 are open. 33.9% flexi, and a $5 to $10 winner somewhere would pay well.

BIG 6 (R4–R9)

Smart: 7,1,18 / 11,13,12,7 / 11,10,6,8 / 3,11,1,14,6 / 4,6,2,10 / 11,3,6,15 (3840 combos x $0.001302 = $5.00) -- 0.13% flexi
Punty's take: This one is entertainment only with 4800 combos and a flexi at the floor, so it's a $5 punt for the bragging rights if six of six lands.

NUGGETS FROM THE TRACK

1 - Kiwi Jenni's blinkers are off
Blinkers come off for the first time, the market has come in from $8.00 to $6.40, and she's a $2.25 place price at Race 5. Watch the market.
2 - Yes Yoshi's first-up record
150 days off, first-up record of 1 start for 1 win, and the good-track record reads 4 starts for 2 wins. He's the one who can win without needing the race to fall apart.
3 - Tandarra's ear muffs
Ear muffs go on for the first time, but only pre-race, so Tandarra is the horse who's been in the wrong gear for the wrong reasons. Bloke's been fitted for a noise-cancelling headset and hasn't raced in 247 days.

FINAL WORD FROM THE SICKO SANCTUARY

Bendigo's a cracker of a card and the Big 3 is sitting pretty on the top of the board. Keep your stakes sensible, keep your mates honest, and if the multi lands, buy the round.
