For all of Punty's tips for Launceston, head to https://punty.ai/tips/launceston-2026-10-30

Rightio Degenerates, Launceston is sitting on a Soft 5 after 26mm in the last week, the sky's fine, and the wind is gusting to 59.3km/h, so nobody gets to pretend they know how the day will go. Ten races, 96 runners and a fair bit of speed shuffling about. Grab a coffee, because this one needs reading properly.

MEET SNAPSHOT

Track: Launceston, 1100m to 2100m card
Rail: True (no position is noted in the data, so I'm not calling a lane)
Official going: Soft 5 (Nil last 24hrs, 26mm last 7 days)
Weather: Fine, live conditions show gusts of 59.3km/h
Early lane guess: unknown pre-race, watch the first two
Tempo profile: Race 1, Race 2, Race 6, Race 9 and Race 10 all project as Slow Pace. Race 3 is the Genuine Pace race with one leader. Race 4 is the Hot Pace race with three leaders. Race 5, Race 7 and Race 8 are Moderate.
Jockeys to follow:
Kelvin Sanderson: Eight rides, with Halen, Conscious Bias and Fierce 'n Fabulous among them. He's the one riding the most of the card's live runners, so he'll be in the thick of it.
Ms Sam Kennedy: Eight rides, and every one of them is on the 1.5kg claim. She's a busy claimer and the price of a bad ride is cheap for the stable.
Ms Erica Byrne Burke: Seven rides, and she's on Coal River (46.1% of her combo runs with Angela Brakey... 5 wins from 13 rides together) and Shines Discreetly (5 from 9 with Matthew Brown). Both are real tickets.
Stables to respect:
S Gandy (9 runners): Nine runners is the biggest string on the card, with Nine Choirs in Race 1 and Snowdonia in Race 2 the pick of them.
G J Stevenson (8 runners): Sounds Of Peace (Race 1) and Go Jeanie (Race 6) are both Pick 1 tickets, so this barn has the day's best value on the board.
Barry Campbell (6 runners): Four of the six runners are in Race 8, with Beneficiary (Pick 1) and Earendel the two that matter.

Punty's take: This is a card where the speed is a bit of a lottery. Race 4 is the only real fight at the front, with Kion's Kingdom, Mr Tod and Global Miracle all wanting the lead, and that's the race where the closers get a chance. Race 1, Race 2, Race 6, Race 9 and Race 10 are slow-run races where the sit is king and nobody's going to kick off from the gates, so the horses that can settle close to the speed and quicken off it are the ones in the money. Race 3 is the chaos race, with Bewicked the only leader and seven other runners either back or drawn wide. Race 8 looks like the cleanest race on the card if Beneficiary behaves, and Race 10 is the one where Agadoo's back-of-field style gets a free run at a slow tempo.

What it means for you: Be aggressive on the two races where the top pick is on the speed and the price is short but honest, Race 1 and Race 10. Protect yourself in Race 3 and Race 4, where a single bad run can knock a whole sequence over. Race 9 is where the value sits, because the top pick is strong but the field is only seven runners and the place only pays two, so I'm happy to keep the win only there. The sequences are built around these shapes, so the tickets stay true to what the locked bets say.

PUNTY'S BIG 3 + MULTI

These are the three bets the day leans on.

1 - Sounds Of Peace (Race 1, No.7) — $1.52
Why Two placings from two starts, both on the Launceston track, and the sectional times are the fastest in the field. Slow pace suits a horse that can sit handy and quicken, and it's the one that wants the front without needing it.
2 - Agadoo (Race 10, No.2) — $1.80
Why Won at Launceston last start, and its sectional time is the fastest in the field. It's a back-marker in a race where the speed is slow, so it can take its time and come home late without any panic.
3 - Shines Discreetly (Race 9, No.3) — $3.00
Why Won its last start over 1600m at Launceston by a half-length, and it steps up to 2100m here. The jockey and trainer combination has won five from nine together, and the place has been strong, so it's the one I'm trusting.
Multi (all three to win): $10 × 8.21 = $82.10

Race 1 – Trent Wells Mdn Plate

Race type: Maiden, 1400m
Map & tempo: Slow pace on paper, and nobody maps to lead, though Sounds Of Peace is the likeliest to find the front from barrier 3. Joejoe, Cheeky Tilly and Sh'bourne Rising are all drawn wide and well back, so they need cover or a bit of luck. Sounds Of Peace sits handy and the shape helps it, if only just, so it's a trip rather than a fight.
Punty read: Sounds Of Peace is the bet, and at $1.52 it's short, so I'm keeping the money on the win only. Two placings from two starts at Launceston with the fastest sectionals in the field is a clean read, and the ear muffs going on pre-race only is a bit of extra colour. Nine Choirs at $5.50 is the danger, sitting at the back and running on with plenty of ground to make up, and Joejoe at $8.50 is one to watch from the wide gate. Wounded Eagle has blinkers and a tongue tie on for the first time, so it's a bit of a question mark.

Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)

1. Sounds Of Peace (No.7) — $1.55 / $1.04
Bet $13.00 Win, return $20.15
Prob 51.8% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.80x Steady since tip
Why Two seconds from two starts, and the pace set-up suits a horse that wants to sit handy from barrier 3.
2. Nine Choirs (No.5) — $6.00 / $1.65
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.2% | Place: 54.3% | Value: 0.97x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.65 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Joejoe (No.1) — $8.50 / $2.20
Bet Tracked
Prob 8.4% | Place: 38.8% | Value: 0.71x Steady since tip
Why Third at Longford 770m and a close-up run last start, and it has a class edge on paper, but it's drawn 9 and that's a long way to come.

Roughie: Sh'bourne Rising (No.6) — $13.00 / $2.75
Bet Tracked
Prob 6.7% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.87x Steady since tip
Why Its path is the slow pace collapsing up front and the back-marker running into the gaps, and it's a third at Launceston 1220m in its last start before the 1200m clunker.

Race 2 – Ladbrokes Tote Win +10% In October (Bm60)

Race type: Benchmark 60, 1400m
Map & tempo: Slow pace again, and Kakia and Hold The Door both sit on the speed from barriers 2 and 1, so there's a bit of early pressure. Snowdonia is the one the shape really helps and it sits midfield from barrier 4. Halen and Sky Eagle are drawn wide and need to find cover, so they're the ones who have to work.
Punty read: Snowdonia is the bet, and $11.00 on the win returns $44.00 at $4.00. It's the only horse here that the slow pace suits, and it has been running on at the finish with a second at Launceston 1420m last start. The soft track is a question, with no wins yet from ten runs on soft, though it has three placings, so the price is fair rather than generous. Kakia at $3.10 is the danger, the one who has the early speed and the form, and I'm not getting the rapid price on that one. I'm Chev at $4.80 is the one I'd watch in the market.

Top 3 + Roughie ($11.00 pool)

1. Snowdonia (No.5) — $4.00 / place tote
Bet $11.00 Win, return $44.00
Prob 25.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.00x Steady since tip
Why Shape is in its favour, it's been close up at the finish last start, and it's the one I'd bet on the win.
2. Kakia (No.1) — $3.10 / place tote
Bet Tracked
Prob 22.1% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.69x Steady since tip
Why Only two places paid in a field this size, and skinny place divvies make savers a mug's game — this is a win-only race. Tracked, not staked.
3. I'm Chev (No.6) — $5.00 / $2.25
Bet Tracked
Prob 19.4% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.97x Steady since tip
Why It's an honest midfield runner that's been running on at the finish, though the record at 57-58kg is a warning sign.

Roughie: Rapids Ahead (No.8) — $26.00 / $6.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 2.0% | Place: 5.8% | Value: 0.52x Steady since tip
Why It's a back-marker that needs the front pair to collapse, and a second at Launceston 1200m in its last few starts shows it's not hopeless.

Race 3 – Trevor Jones Mdn Plate

Race type: Maiden, 1100m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace, and Bewicked is the only real leader from barrier 5 with Deer Power, Spirit Of Coco and Zhavrafrost all sitting close enough to push it. Deer Power is drawn wide from barrier 10 and has to work to cross, while Concordia Aenean from barrier 12 is a back-half runner that needs cover. The shape is against Bewicked, so it has to win on the trip.
Punty read: Bewicked is the bet, and an each-way on the favourite is the right way to back it. It has run second twice and third once from four starts, and the early lead is the trip it wants. The shape is against it and I'm not going to pretend otherwise, but if it gets the front, the field has to find another way to beat it. Jaggers Edge at $4.60 is the danger, and Alpinefurther is one to watch. Annie's Pride is the first-up runner, 71 days off, so I'd leave it alone.

Top 3 + Roughie ($8.00 pool)

1. Bewicked (No.8) — $5.00 / $2.00
Bet $8.00 Each Way ($4.00W + $4.00P), collects $28.00 if it wins ($20.00 win + $8.00 place), $8.00 if it only places
Prob 16.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.80x Steady since tip
Why Two seconds and a third from four starts, and it's the only leader in a race where the front is up for grabs.
2. Jaggers Edge (No.5) — $4.80 / $1.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.5% | Place: 42.7% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Alpinefurther (No.1) — $5.50 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 11.9% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why First-up with ear muffs on pre-race only, and it's a question mark on the run style, so it's a watch rather than a bet.

Roughie: Deer Power (No.3) — $10.00 / $3.10
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.6% | Place: 29.0% | Value: 0.76x Steady since tip
Why It's drawn wide and has to find the speed, but if the leader gets into trouble it can run home late, and it has run fourth at Launceston 1100m.

Race 4 – Cyril Simpson Mdn Plate

Race type: Maiden, 1200m
Map & tempo: Hot pace, and it's a three-way fight with Kion's Kingdom, Mr Tod and Global Miracle all wanting the front. Bassein and Miss Strat sit handy and the shape helps them, while the back half is the place to be if the leaders go too hard. Geegees Avalanche is midfield from barrier 10, and the shape is against it, but the contest up front could be ugly enough to give it room.
Punty read: Geegees Avalanche is the bet at $2.45, and the win on a $15.00 stake returns $36.75. Blinkers go on for the first time and winkers come off, which is a real change, and it's been running on hard at the finish with a third at Longford 800m last start. Its record on soft is four starts with a second, and the race shape is against it, so the bet is an honest one. King Candy is the danger at $5.00 with its place price strong, and Miss Strat is one to watch if the blinkers are a big improvement.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Geegees Avalanche (No.3) — $2.50 / $1.37
Bet $15.00 Win, return $37.50
Prob 27.0% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.68x Steady since tip
Why Last start was a fourth at Hobart with the raced-wide excuse, and the blinkers going on for the first time sharpens it.
2. King Candy (No.11) — $5.50 / $2.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.7% | Place: 58.8% | Value: 1.03x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.00 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Miss Strat (No.10) — $6.00 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 11.4% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.68x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers on for the first time and it sits handy in a hot race, but it has to hold on to the position it gets.

Roughie: Creamy Pint (No.13) — $9.00 / $2.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 8.5% | Place: 35.2% | Value: 0.76x Steady since tip
Why It's a third at Longford 800m in its last start, and if the leaders cook themselves the closers get the chance to pick up the pieces.

Race 5 – Adam Trinder Hcp (C2)

Race type: Class 2, 1200m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace with Vortistar and Dubai Affair both wanting the front from barriers 11 and 9, so they're going to be fighting and drawn wide. Noble and Geegeehailstorm are the ones the shape helps, sitting handy and midfield. Novalargo sits handy from barrier 1 with a nice run into the race, and the shape is against it, so the fight up front is the thing to watch.
Punty read: Novalargo is the bet at $2.30, and $15.00 on the win returns $34.50. It has been runner-up in its last three starts, with a second at Launceston 1100m last start, and it's a winner over this trip with two wins from four starts at the distance. The weight is 3kg up but it's been best at similar weights. Genuine Lady at $7.50 is the danger, with a first at Launceston 1200m last start and the place price strong. Vortistar is one to watch, drifting from $4.80 to $6.50.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Novalargo (No.3) — $2.35 / $1.25
Bet $15.00 Win, return $35.25
Prob 28.4% | Place: 59.7% | Value: 0.67x Steady since tip
Why It's the best-credentialed horse in the race, with three placings in its last three starts and a clean draw from barrier 1.
2. Vortistar (No.2) — $7.50 / $2.35
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.8% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.11x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.35 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Genuine Lady (No.6) — $8.00 / $2.60
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.3% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 1.14x Steady since tip
Why A first at Launceston 1200m last start, and it's a danger if the leaders run themselves into the ground.

Roughie: Oxidize (No.10) — $9.50 / $2.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.5% | Place: 28.0% | Value: 0.71x Steady since tip
Why It's a second at Longford 800m last start and a strong move in the market from $14.00 to $9.00, so it's the one to watch if the race breaks up.

Race 6 – Steve Donaldson (Bm68)

Race type: Benchmark 68, 1400m
Map & tempo: Slow pace, and Night People and Flying Billie are the likeliest to find the front from barriers 2 and 6. Go Jeanie is the only horse the pace advantages, sitting midfield from barrier 5. Fighting For Gold and Sh'bourne Power are both drawn wide and midfield, so they need cover to get into the race.
Punty read: Go Jeanie is the bet, and each way at $4.20 keeps the place back on the table. It ran second at Launceston 1400m last start and has the shape with it. The weight is 4kg up, and that's a factor, but the market has it as a value runner. Fighting For Gold at $2.25 is the danger, a first at Launceston 1400m last start, so it's a hard horse to ignore. Sh'bourne Power at $4.20 is the one I'd watch for the placing.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)

1. Go Jeanie (No.4) — $4.20 / $1.57
Bet $10.50 Each Way ($5.25W + $5.25P), collects $30.29 if it wins ($22.05 win + $8.24 place), $8.24 if it only places
Prob 25.9% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.09x Steady since tip
Why It's the one the shape helps and it has run second last start, so each-way keeps the place in play.
2. Fighting For Gold (No.6) — $2.25 / $1.14
Bet Tracked
Prob 20.9% | Place: 60.3% | Value: 0.47x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Sh'bourne Power (No.7) — $4.50 / $1.57
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.7% | Place: 53.8% | Value: 0.84x Steady since tip
Why A second at Launceston 1400m last start and a strong jockey and trainer combination, though the draw is wide.

Roughie: Sister Royal (No.8) — $10.00 / $2.55
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.2% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 1.02x Steady since tip
Why It's drawn 1 with an inside run and has the place form, so a slow start is the trip it needs.

Race 7 – Lenny Porter (Bm60)

Race type: Benchmark 60, 1100m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace with Dennyson and The Wizard King the two leaders, and The Wizard King is drawn wide from barrier 9. Popilita, Dancing Wolf and Platinum Reggae are the ones the shape helps. Geegees Downpour sits midfield from barrier 8 and the shape is against it, so the pick has to win on its own merit.
Punty read: Geegees Downpour is the bet, and each way at $4.80 keeps the place working. It's won its last two starts, a first at Launceston 1200m and a first at Longford 800m, and that's a good sign. The shape is against it, and the price is fair, so I'm not chasing. Brave Jet at $5.50 is the danger, with a strong place price and a clean run from midfield. Dancing Wolf at $9.50 is the roughie with a blinkers change and the shape with it.

Top 3 + Roughie ($9.00 pool)

1. Geegees Downpour (No.3) — $5.00 / $1.95
Bet $9.00 Each Way ($4.50W + $4.50P), collects $31.28 if it wins ($22.50 win + $8.78 place), $8.78 if it only places
Prob 16.5% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.83x Steady since tip
Why Two straight wins with the sectional time fastest over the last 600m, so it's the one with the finishing kick.
2. Brave Jet (No.11) — $5.50 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 15.4% | Place: 46.0% | Value: 0.85x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Fluffy's Girl (No.9) — $4.20 / $1.75
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.6% | Place: 34.7% | Value: 0.57x Steady since tip
Why Third at Longford 800m and running on, with the 3kg rise being the question.

Roughie: Dancing Wolf (No.7) — $9.50 / $2.85
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.3% | Place: 29.3% | Value: 0.70x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers off and ear muffs out pre-race for the first time, and it's won at Longford 800m last start, so the change could bring the speed back.

Race 8 – Ken Hallet (Bm76)

Race type: Benchmark 76, 1600m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace with several horses who could find the front, including Coal River, Earendel and Stone Cold Stunner, so the speed is shared. Shy Guy is the one the shape helps. Beneficiary is drawn 8 and sits handy, and the shape is against it, so it has to win from behind the speed battle.
Punty read: Beneficiary is the bet at $2.50, and $10.50 on the win returns $26.25. It ran third at Longford 1400m last start but won two at Devonport Synthetic in its last three, and it's been running on home with the fastest sectional time. The shape is against it, but the form is strong enough to overcome that. Coal River at $4.50 is the danger, a first at Longford 1400m last start and a strong market move. Earendel at $6.00 is the one to watch for the placing.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)

1. Beneficiary (No.4) — $2.50 / $1.25
Bet $10.50 Win, return $26.25
Prob 29.1% | Place: 61.5% | Value: 0.73x Steady since tip
Why It's won four of its last five and has the fastest sectional time, so the form is the reason to trust it.
2. Coal River (No.2) — $4.60 / $1.65
Bet Tracked
Prob 21.9% | Place: 54.1% | Value: 1.01x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.65 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Earendel (No.5) — $6.50 / $1.95
Bet Tracked
Prob 11.7% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.76x Steady since tip
Why A second at Longford 1400m last start and two seconds before that, so it's the one that finishes close.

Roughie: Stone Cold Stunner (No.6) — $11.00 / $2.65
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.3% | Place: 28.7% | Value: 0.80x Steady since tip
Why A first at Launceston 1400m last start, and if the speed collapses it can run into the places.

Race 9 – Ray Bean Plate (C1)

Race type: Maiden, 2100m
Map & tempo: Slow pace, and nobody maps to lead or sit handy. So Vogue is the one the shape helps from midfield. Opensea and Shines Discreetly are the back-half runners that need cover from barriers 7 and 8. Shines Discreetly is the pick, and the shape is against it, so it has to find a trip.
Punty read: Shines Discreetly is the bet at $3.00, and $15.00 on the win returns $45.00. It has won its last start over 1600m at Launceston, and it steps up to 2100m here, which is a trip question but the form is solid. The jockey and trainer combination have won five from nine together, and that's a real edge. Da Silver Flash at $2.65 is the danger, and Lyco Reco at $4.80 is the one to watch. Nicalbi at $12.00 is the roughie with a tongue tie on for the first time.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

1. Shines Discreetly (No.3) — $3.00 / $1.65
Bet $15.00 Win, return $45.00
Prob 33.6% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.01x Steady since tip
Why A win last start over 1600m, a half-length margin, and the jockey and trainer combination have a strong record together.
2. Da Silver Flash (No.5) — $2.70 / place tote
Bet Tracked
Prob 24.5% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.66x Steady since tip
Why Only two places paid in a field this size, and skinny place divvies make savers a mug's game — this is a win-only race. Tracked, not staked.
3. Lyco Reco (No.7) — $4.80 / $2.25
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.6% | Place: 38.8% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why Only three runs at the trip and a sectional rank of second, so it can run on at the finish.

Roughie: Nicalbi (No.1) — $12.00 / $3.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 5.6% | Place: 17.8% | Value: 0.68x Steady since tip
Why Tongue tie on for the first time and it's a fourth at Launceston 1600m last start. If the front runners stall it can pick up a placing.

Race 10 – Brendon Larkins Hcp (C2)

Race type: Class 2, 1600m
Map & tempo: Slow pace, and Sir William is the only real speed in the race from barrier 4. Little El is the one the shape helps, sitting midfield from barrier 6. Agadoo is a back-marker from barrier 2 and the shape is neutral for it, so it can take its time and run on late.
Punty read: Agadoo is the bet at $1.80, and $13.00 on the win returns $23.40. It won at Launceston 1400m last start and it's the one with the finishing kick in a slow race. The price is short and I'm backing it with the win only. Little El at $4.20 is the danger, with the shape with it and a sectional time of third, and it's the one I'd keep on the watch list. Wolf Junior at $4.20 is a third at Launceston 1400m last start, and it's a horse that can be on the honest end.

Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)

1. Agadoo (No.2) — $1.80 / $1.20
Bet $13.00 Win, return $23.40
Prob 36.6% | Place: 59.2% | Value: 0.66x Steady since tip
Why A win at Launceston last start, and its fastest time over the last 600m means it can finish fast from the back.
2. Little El (No.4) — $4.20 / $1.95
Bet Tracked
Prob 24.7% | Place: 40.1% | Value: 1.04x Steady since tip
Why Only two places paid in a field this size, and skinny place divvies make savers a mug's game — this is a win-only race. Tracked, not staked.
3. Wolf Junior (No.1) — $4.20 / $1.95
Bet Tracked
Prob 19.8% | Place: 45.9% | Value: 0.83x Steady since tip
Why A win at Launceston 1400m last start and a second at Launceston 1420m before that, so it's a strong runner in a small field.

Roughie: Sir William (No.5) — $23.00 / $4.60

Why It's the one with the early speed, and if the slow pace holds it can pick up a place, though it needs the field to dawdle.

NUGGETS FROM THE TRACK

1 - Blinkers on for the first-timer
Effrontery has blinkers on for the first time in Race 1, and its last start was a sixth at Launceston 1100m with the bumped and hampered excuse. The slow pace in Race 1 suits its style, so the blinkers are worth watching.
2 - Heavy money on Get 'em Warrior
Get 'em Warrior drops from $23.00 to $15.00 in Race 5 with blinkers off and visors on for the first time. That's a real market move and a gear change worth noting.
3 - Seven runners, two places
Race 9 has seven runners and the place only pays two, so the win is the only sensible bet on the top pick. Bit of a sickening little detail, but the place divs are thin.

SEQUENCE LANES

EARLY QUADDIE (R3-R6)

Smart: 8,5,1,3 / 3,11,10 / 3,2,6 / 6,7,4 (108 combos x $0.3241 = $35.00) -- 32.4% flexi
Punty's take: Race 3 and Race 4 are the open legs and the risk sits there, with Race 5 and Race 6 tighter. This ticket is high-risk and the flexi keeps the payout honest. It's a ticket for the brave, and short-priced winners will do little for it.

QUADDIE (R7-R10)

Smart: 3,11,9,7 / 4,2,5 / 3,5,7 / 2,1,4 (108 combos x $0.3241 = $35.00) -- 32.4% flexi
Punty's take: Race 9 is the tight leg with two strong horses, and Race 8 is the banker. Race 7 is wide open with five runners, so the ticket is built around that. Low risk relative to the Early Quaddie, and the flexi is solid for a quaddie of this shape.

BIG 6 (R5-R10)

Smart: 3,2,6,10 / 6,7,4,8 / 3,11,9,7,10 / 4,2,5,6 / 3,5,7 / 2,1,4 (2880 combos x $0.001736 = $5.00) -- 0.17% flexi
Punty's take: This is an entertainment-only ticket. Six legs with four open races and 3600 combos means the flexi is tiny, so treat it as a lottery with a bit of fun in it.

FINAL WORD FROM THE SICKO SANCTUARY

Ten races, one Soft 5 track and a gust of wind that will have every bookie on the ground shaking. Back the picks, respect the roughies, and don't chase a loss into the last race.
