Rightio Loose Units, Casterton on Soft 6 with the rail jammed true the whole way, proper "mud politics" today. The track's slick enough to turn good intentions into lost horses, so you want ones that either map to go forward, or at least know how to finish like they mean it. And since there's 15 scratchings, the vibe's already a bit chaotic, like a Netflix series where everyone's twin is hiding in plain sight.
You can build a nice spine with three races where the leaders shape is loud, and the short-priced market is screaming for a reason. Race 1 is basically a wedding reception for Money Honey, Race 3 is the Fiorowngood show if he handles the wet, and Race 5 has Min Kiata sitting in the perfect pocket. After that, you either get paid, or you get taught, but hey, that's why we rock up in the first place.
Now, I'm not pretending every race is a layup. Soft 6 can spit out a surprise, and when it does, it usually comes from the horse that's been unlucky, not the one that's been brilliant on paper.
