Nothing crazy has happened overnight, no rain in the last 24 hours, but the whole joint feels like it's holding its breath. That usually means two things, speed still matters, but the ones who can keep grinding through little bits of niggle are the ones that cash. Punty's take: Warra today is a "get on" meeting. With showers possibly popping up later, I want horses that handle the cold and don't require perfect galloping room. In Race 1 and Race 3, I'm all over the ones that get to control the lanes early. In Race 4, Old Time Rock just screams "run it like you mean it," and he's got the right vibe for a Good 3 sting. And in the back half, the class bands get thinner, so place markets become your best mate.
