✗ MISS -$18 Final

Race type: Maiden, 800m
Map & tempo: Moderate Pace, General Dancer and Lulu A Natural can press, Luminous Girl tracks the right cover
Punty read:
This is a classic Warwick sprint-maiden where the pace is there, but the finish is still savage. The leaders are loud early, but the big danger is the runner who sits close enough to pounce and doesn't get trapped behind tired legs. Video Vixen and Luminous Girl both look like they're positioned for "held together by momentum" tactics, which is basically the secret sauce on Good 4.

Luminous Girl is my pick because she's the best blend of pace map and actual ability to arrive. General Dancer is the type that can get in the race with proper gear, while Demes Girl is your "if this turns into a small battlefield" roughie.

Top 3 + Roughie ($24.00 pool)

1. Luminous Girl (No.8) — $3.40 / $1.60 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet $20.00 Win — ✗ Lost, net -$20.00
Prob 25.9% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 1.32x
Why She maps to get the right trip, and her line at this type of meeting is always sharper than the odds suggest.

2. Video Vixen (No.10) — $3.30 / $1.57 🏆 WINNER
Bet $4.00 Place — ✓ Won, net +$2.28
Prob 20.8% | Place: 64.0% | Value: 0.82x
Why Backing a place in a maiden sprint is smart when she can sit handy and hit the line without needing a miracle gap.

3. General Dancer (No.6) — $5.00 / $1.90 🏆 3RD
Bet Tracked
Prob 11.7% | Place: 47.0% | Value: 1.13x
Why Blinkers first time and a fresh approach, he's on my watchlist for when the leaders start breathing fire.

Roughie: Demes Girl (No.5) — $12.00 / $3.20 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 8.2% | Place: 29.0% | Value: 1.47x
Why Roughie path is simple, if she stalks rather than scrapes, she can run into the placings and squeeze the right gaps.

✗ MISS -$10 Final

Race type: Benchmark 60, 800m
Map & tempo: Hot Pace, multiple leaders can pressure, expect a fast first turn
Punty read:
This one's a speed battle that could turn into a numbers game by the time the field hits the straight. You've got Ever So Ready and Chat Mignon pressing, and I Am Gone is the sort that makes the leaders work just enough. In these short sprints, the winner is often the one who doesn't waste petrol.

I Am Gone is the win spine because he fits the map, and the value is there around him. Ever So Ready and Chat Mignon are your place protection, especially if the race gets crowded early.

Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)

1. I Am Gone (No.10) — $3.50 / $1.60 🏆 4TH
Bet $10.50 Each Way ($5.25W + $5.25P) — ✗ Lost, net -$10.50
Prob 18.8% | Place: 62.6% | Value: 0.84x
Why He's a natural leader type, and at 800m that can be the difference between travelling and getting cooked.

2. Ever So Ready (No.9) — $4.80 / $1.77 🏆 3RD
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.6% | Place: 61.2% | Value: 1.14x
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.

3. Chat Mignon (No.12) — $5.50 / $2.05 🏆 2ND
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.4% | Place: 47.0% | Value: 1.15x
Why Works into the race and keeps chances alive when the tempo is high and the field gets strung out.

Roughie: Aeternum (No.4) — $13.00 / $3.50 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 6.8% | Place: 24.3% | Value: 1.13x
Why If the early speed stretches and he's able to find room, he's the kind that can snag a top-three cheque.

✗ MISS -$15 Final

Race type: Maiden, 1200m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace, Zoubuca Shots wants the front and gets every chance
Punty read:
This is built like a Zoubuca Shots race. Leaders go, the pace stays honest, and when the leader can keep holding the ball, you often get the perfect setup for a wire-to-winner script. Elnajeeb is the obvious danger, and he's the one who can bridge and press into the pocket of the race.

City Bound is there for the upset angle, but the key is whether the leader holds on through the straight. On Good 4, that's usually the job.

Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)

★ PUNTY'S PICK 1. Zoubuca Shots (No.7) — $2.03 / $1.07 🏆 3RD
Bet $15.00 Win — ✗ Lost, net -$15.00
Prob 44.0% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 1.27x
Why The map says lead and the race shape supports it, he's the kind that makes even "good seconds" feel ordinary.

2. Elnajeeb (No.2) — $2.38 / $1.10 🏆 WINNER
Bet Tracked
Prob 31.2% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 0.82x
Why A real chance — but at $1.10 the place he's not a saver, he's a punt, and that's not a price I insure at. Watching, not betting.

3. City Bound (No.17) — $5.50 / $1.52 🏆 4TH
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.8% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 0.83x
Why He can run on and be there when the field sorts, but winning might require a bit of luck.

Roughie: Mishani Senorita (No.15) — $18.50 / $3.10 🏆 2ND
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.1% | Place: 23.4% | Value: 0.85x
Why Roughie path is chaos, needs the pace to break and for her to thread through in the last 200m.

✗ MISS -$13 Final

Race type: Class 3, 1500m
Map & tempo: Slow Pace, Heavenly Love has the advantage to sit closer and pounce
Punty read:
Slow 1500m races are where a lot of punters get ideas and then get punished. When it's not hot early, the race tends to bunch up, and the winner is often the one that can control the turn, then accelerate without getting stuck behind the pack.

Heavenly Love should get the perfect stalking trip here, while Standlee is the value runner that can grind it out through the middle stages. Luconi is the live one to watch for a cheeky run, but I'm not letting him lead my ticket today.

Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)

1. Heavenly Love (No.2) — $3.60 / $1.62 🏆 4TH
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P) — ✗ Lost, net -$13.00
Prob 19.3% | Place: 63.9% | Value: 0.91x
Why Better pace position than it looks, and slow tempo suits a horse that can pick up at the right time.

2. Standlee (No.5) — $6.50 / $2.40 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.4% | Place: 44.3% | Value: 1.39x
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.

3. Luconi (No.1) — $3.90 / $1.65 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 15.8% | Place: 64.7% | Value: 0.80x
Why He's consistent and can hit the board, but for winning you want a clearer story than "midfield and pray".

Roughie: Flying Celica (No.10) — $11.00 / $3.20 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 6.6% | Place: 27.9% | Value: 0.94x
Why Roughie path is she needs to find clear galloping room late, and slow tempo often gives those runners their chance.

✗ MISS -$5 Final

Race type: Restricted 58, 1100m
Map & tempo: Moderate Pace, Zippy speed early, Final Voyage and King Of Geraldine are in the race story
Punty read:
This is a 1100m where the turn matters. With moderate tempo, the "right spot" is priceless, because if you're too far off you're basically watching the others do all the hard work. Icymiss looks like she's built for this type of trip, worldy spirit is the sort that can keep grinding, and Zarippa has the run-on style that fits the Good 4.

I'm backing Icymiss to win, then leaning on Zarippa and Final Voyage to make it a place-and-win kind of day.

Top 3 + Roughie ($9.00 pool)

1. Icymiss (No.12) — $2.30 / $1.25 🏆 3RD
Bet $6.50 Win — ✗ Lost, net -$6.50
Prob 20.3% | Place: 62.6% | Value: 0.60x
Why She's the likely winner with the clean trip profile, and at this level she can turn "good run" into "win".

2. Zarippa (No.2) — $4.90 / $1.75 🏆 WINNER
Bet $2.50 Place — ✓ Won, net +$1.88
Prob 19.8% | Place: 55.9% | Value: 1.24x
Why Value on the place line, should get a good position and keep the momentum through the straight.

3. Final Voyage (No.13) — $8.60 / $2.60 🏆 2ND
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.3% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 1.80x
Why Big place potential, but her winning path needs the race to shape perfectly.

Roughie: King Of Geraldine (No.5) — $12.00 / $3.10 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 8.2% | Place: 27.9% | Value: 1.26x
Why Roughie path is a speed collapse and him sneaking into top-three on a fresh burst late.

✗ MISS -$13 Final

Race type: Restricted 58, 1350m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace, Heart 'n' Power on pace and ready to pounce
Punty read:
1350m with genuine pace is where the race starts deciding itself early. If Heart 'n' Power gets to sit right, he's the sort to keep going through the line instead of just being "promising". Artie Vainqueur is dangerous at the right time, and Fiery Lass is the one who can sneak in with a better run.

This feels like a Heart n Power kind of day, the map suits and the win can be more than just a place mission.

Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)

1. Heart 'n' Power (No.4) — $5.00 / $2.00 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P) — ✗ Lost, net -$13.00
Prob 19.2% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 1.24x
Why Pace advantage for the trip, and he's built to run his race without getting swallowed.

2. Artie Vainqueur (No.6) — $3.60 / $1.57 🏆 WINNER
Bet Tracked
Prob 17.5% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 0.81x
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.

3. Fiery Lass (No.1) — $5.00 / $2.00 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.2% | Place: 66.8% | Value: 0.91x
Why If the pace is strong enough, she can grab a place, but winning needs everything to line up.

Roughie: Piertaga (No.11) — $13.00 / $3.70 🏆 2ND
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.3% | Place: 19.2% | Value: 0.72x
Why Roughie path is a midrace speed change and he finds space late for the trifecta hunt.

✗ MISS -$13 Final

Race type: Restricted 58, 1350m
Map & tempo: Genuine Pace, the leaders are active, but the winners often come from midfield control
Punty read:
This is a 1350m where you want the runners that can sit close without burning. Coney Island Baby and Shining Proisir both have the profile to be in the finish, Water Lad is a smooth runner if he gets clear, and Zayyano is your roughie bomb if the pace holds together just long enough.

I'm leaning toward Coney Island Baby and Water Lad for your safety plays, with Zayyano as the one that can make the day go bang.

Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)

1. Coney Island Baby (No.4) — $4.20 / $1.75 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P) — ✗ Lost, net -$13.00
Prob 18.4% | Place: 62.5% | Value: 0.99x
Why Strong place profile and she can handle the tempo, just needs a run in the right pocket.

2. Shining Proisir (No.10) — $3.80 / $1.70 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.1% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 0.88x
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.

3. Water Lad (No.14) — $5.50 / $2.15 🏆 2ND
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.3% | Place: 69.0% | Value: 1.16x
Why Better than she looks at the line, and the run style gives her a genuine finishing impact.

Roughie: Zayyano (No.7) — $13.00 / $3.70 🏆 UNPLACED
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.2% | Place: 40.3% | Value: 1.53x
Why Roughie path is pace pressure up front, then he launches into the gap like a bloke skipping the queue.

Punty's Early Mail

Rightio Loose Units, Warwick today feels like one of those meetings where the rail is true, the Good 4 is polite, and the races still manage to go feral because someone decided to throw a blanket over the finish. Perfect. Let's line up the speed where it matters, respect the place-leaning wars, and smash the Big 3 spine, because life's too short to be loyal to overpriced favourites.

The early tempo looks pretty usable across the card, and with the rail true, you generally want to be on the right side of the speed map. When you drift too far back in these fields, you start relying on gaps popping out of nowhere like a Marvel cameo. Some races are "sit and pounce", others are "don't even think about it, just stay honest". I'm doing both, like a proper degenerate with a mission.
