Alright degenerates, Sandown on Soft 5 with the rail out is basically a buffet. The front runners still get their say, but you've gotta respect the ones that can stalk without burning, because the last 200m is where the ground really starts charging rent.
Race 1 and Race 3 set the tone, because Sandown at 1500 and 1300 on wet ground punishes anything that drifts too far back without a proper lane. Then we go into genuine pace sprints later, and that's where you want a horse that can hold position, not one that's doing parkour around heels.
