Punty's Early Mail
For all of Punty's tips for Gold Coast, head to https://punty.ai/tips/gold-coast-2026-10-31
Rightio Loose Units, Gold Coast is a Soft 7 with 113mm in the last week, so the track has plenty of give and the form book needs a proper read. Nine races, and the day leans on a horse who is $1.55 for a reason. The Grey One is the banker in Race 2, but the rest of the card is a grab bag of maidens, benchmarks and a couple of races where the speed is the whole story. Grab a coffee, this one is long.
MEET SNAPSHOT
Track: Gold Coast, 1000m to 3200m card
Rail: True (no rail position note given in the data)
Official going: Soft 7 (113mm in the last 7 days, nil in the last 24 hours)
Weather: Fine, live gusts 16.7km/h (no wind direction in the data)
Early lane guess: unknown pre-race, watch the first two
Tempo profile: Hot pace only in Race 6, moderate in Races 3, 5, 7 and 8, slow in Races 2 and 4, genuine in Races 1 and 9. Speed is scarce in the staying races and the 1000m sprint is the only race where the pace is going to be honest.
Jockeys to follow:
Brandon Lerena: 8 rides today, including Concession in Race 6 and Silent Call in Race 7. His Gold Coast strike rate sits at 14% (216/1546) and he is riding with a bit of heat behind him.
Benjamin Osmond: 7 rides, including Divine Justice in Race 7, our staked pick there. His Gold Coast strike rate is 8.2% (160/1953), so I'm not hanging the bet on the jockey.
Danny Peisley: 7 rides, including Extreme Spirit in Race 8. His Gold Coast strike rate is 11% (158/1437), and he has a horse who has been placing at the right time.
Stables to respect:
G Heinrich & B Rodgers (6 runners): spread across the card, including Tuki Twelve in Race 7, Champagne Problems in Race 8 and Prime Asset, Rose Of Shiraz and Chilliwack in Race 9. None of them carry a locked stake, but they have the numbers.
K A Lees (5 runners): Palmanova in Race 1, Credibility in Race 3, Smashing Nova and Excessor in Race 8, Herman Said in Race 9. Smashing Nova is the second pick in Race 8, so the stable is worth a look.
P L Shailer (5 runners): Coastal Boom in Race 1, Yukon Ready in Race 3, Isti Star in Race 6, Il Fratello and Certify in Race 9. Coastal Boom has a 14.3% Gold Coast strike rate for the trainer (151/1054).
Punty's take: Speed is the main game today. Race 6 is the only proper hot pace on the card, with three runners who all want the front, so the closers get their shot there and Quein Step lives behind the fight. Races 3, 5, 7 and 8 are moderate, and the horses who sit handy in those races are the ones who get the cheap trip. Race 2 is slow and it is all about The Grey One, who has to find his own way through a pace that works against him on paper. The bankers are Race 2 and Race 3 with the favourites, and I'm not fighting the market in either. Races 1, 4 and 9 are where the chaos sits, and the fields are wide open enough that the roughies can cause real damage. Race 8 is the wide-open one where no runner tops 15%, so I'm playing it small and respecting the pace.
What it means for you: Be aggressive in Race 2 and Race 7, where Divine Justice and The Grey One carry the locked stakes. Protect the money in Race 4 and Race 9 because the staying race is a slow pace grind and the 1200m genuine pace race with a wide draw is a lottery. Race 6 is the race to watch for the first two out of the gates, because a hot pace on a 1000m track favours the horses who can stalk and pick off the leaders. The Quaddie is the ticket to watch, but the value sits in the roughies and the place bets, not the short-priced winners.
PUNTY'S BIG 3 + MULTI
These are the three bets the day leans on.
1 - The Grey One (Race 2, No.6) — $1.55
Why Clear market leader in a slow-pace race where nobody else has the form to match him, and he has run 2nd and 1st in his last two on the Gold Coast.
2 - Filthy (Race 3, No.1) — $2.60
Why Moderate pace suits him from midfield and he has finished 4th, 3rd and 2nd in his last three, with the 4th last start coming after being bumped and hampered.
3 - Samurai Warrior (Race 4, No.7) — $3.50
Why The slow pace in a 3200m grind works against him, but he has the stamina and he was unlucky last start, bumped and hampered in a 2200m run.
Multi (all three to win): $10 × 14.11 = $141.10
Race 1 – Angus Flexible Pipelines Australia Mdn Plate
Race type: Maiden, 1000m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace, and Coastal Boom is the only horse who maps to lead from barrier 7, so it should go uncontested. Cool Zumbelina settles midfield from barrier 9 and the shape helps her, with the back half of the field getting the run. Fair Shake and Mishani Sinatra are both drawn wide and have to work to get across, which hurts their chances in a sprint like this.
Punty read: Cool Zumbelina is the bet, and the reason is simple: she won her last start at Sunshine Coast Inner 1000m by 0.1L and she sits midfield in a race where the speed is going to be on the front. Coastal Boom gets the lead but she has been bumped and hampered in two of her last three, so I'm not betting her. Palmanova is the danger from the speed, and Carat King at $23.00 is the roughie who needs the front pair to fall in a heap.
Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)
1. Cool Zumbelina (No.4) — $3.50 / $1.60
Bet $10.50 Win, return $36.75
Prob 18.6% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why Won her last start at Sunshine Coast Inner 1000m by 0.1L, and the map has her sitting midfield where the pace favours the back half. The sprint trip suits her.
2. Coastal Boom (No.3) — $5.00 / $1.95
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.1% | Place: 45.6% | Value: 0.81x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.95 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Palmanova (No.12) — $5.00 / $1.95
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.7% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.68x Steady since tip
Why Fastest sectional early speed on the card and tends to work hard early. He was held up at Eagle Farm last time and he's 2kg up, so the weight is a question.
Roughie: Carat King (No.2) — $27.00 / $4.20
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.0% | Place: 17.8% | Value: 1.07x Steady since tip
Why Ear muffs and tongue tie on for the first time, and a Gold Coast 850m 3rd last start. If the front two go too hard in a genuine pace, the sprint gives him a chance to finish, but he's a roughie for a reason.
Race 2 – Powered By Next Level Racing Mdn Hcp
Race type: Maiden, 1400m
Map & tempo: Slow pace on the map, and nobody maps to lead, with Poor Ol' Johny Ray and Mr Betterman the likeliest to find the front. The Grey One settles back from barrier 5 and the shape is against him, with the pace likely to favour handy runners and the back half needing cover from the wide gates. Worthy Stunnah sits midfield from barrier 1 with a bit of room, and that's a plus.
Punty read: The Grey One is the bet and the price is short for a reason, but his last two runs are the sort of form that wins from the back in a slow race if he can find a clear run. He's racing at 1400m off a 1200m 2nd last start and a 1000m 1st before that, so the trip is no worry. Worthy Stunnah is the one who can cause him trouble if the pace stays honest and the midfield gets in the way. Poor Ol' Johny Ray is the stalker who may work into the picture if the leaders get tired.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. The Grey One (No.6) — $1.55 / $1.09
Bet $13.00 Win, return $20.15
Prob 49.1% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.76x Steady since tip
Why Two strong runs on the Gold Coast, 2nd at 1200m and 1st at 1000m, and the market backs him in for a reason. The slow pace is against him but I can see a clear run from the back.
2. Worthy Stunnah (No.1) — $7.00 / $2.05
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.7% | Place: 56.4% | Value: 0.96x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.05 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Poor Ol' Johny Ray (No.5) — $5.50 / $1.75
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.6% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.58x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers off again, and a 2nd at Sunshine Coast Inner 1000m last start. He's a handy horse in a slow race, which works in his favour, though the draw from barrier 13 means he has to work to get across.
Roughie: Grandstander (No.11) — $16.00 / $3.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.6% | Place: 27.8% | Value: 0.73x Steady since tip
Why A 2nd at Gatton 1400m by 0.1L last start, and the midfield sit gives him a chance to finish late if The Grey One gets run down. The weight records are a warning, so he's one for the place pool only if the race goes his way.
Race 3 – Carpet Call Mdn Hcp
Race type: Maiden, 1400m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace, with Chayse 'n' Ralph, Over The Louvre and Rising Queen all eyeing the front. Filthy sits midfield from barrier 8 and the shape helps him, with the handy horses hurt more than the midfield runners. Mr Paragon and Lean Warrior are both drawn wide and need luck to get a clean run.
Punty read: Filthy is the bet, and I'm happy to back a horse who has run 4th, 3rd and 2nd in his last three with a 4th last start after being bumped and hampered. He's a midfield horse in a race where the pace works for that style, and the 1400m trip is all his. Symbolise and Cautionary Tail are the two who can run into the money if the leaders get tired, and Testy Nic is the roughie who wants the front pair to tire.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. Filthy (No.1) — $2.60 / $1.40
Bet $13.00 Win, return $33.80
Prob 30.8% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.80x Steady since tip
Why Midfield sit in a moderate race that helps that style, and a 4th last start after being bumped and hampered. He's been placed in his last three.
2. Cautionary Tail (No.12) — $5.00 / $2.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.9% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.70x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.00 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Symbolise (No.6) — $7.00 / $2.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.4% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.73x Steady since tip
Why A 2nd at Gold Coast 1400m last start and a 1st at Gold Coast 1000m before that. The trainer strike rate here is 17.1% (1907/11150), which is hard to ignore.
Roughie: Testy Nic (No.11) — $11.00 / $3.20
Bet Tracked
Prob 8.1% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.89x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 2 and a 4th at Sunshine Coast 1400m last start. He needs the leaders to come back to him, and the weight records are a warning.
Race 4 – Pipe Dreams & Photo Finishes Jericho Cup - Heat (Bm70)
Race type: Benchmark 70, 3200m
Map & tempo: Slow pace, and Flaming Genesis is the likeliest to find the front from barrier 5 with nobody else mapping to lead. Samurai Warrior settles back from barrier 7 and the shape is against him, but the back half is going to be the main group, with Trusty Bandit and Showman drawn wide needing cover.
Punty read: Samurai Warrior is the bet. The slow pace is against him, but he has the stamina on his side in a 3200m race and the sectional time rank of 3 shows he can finish. He was bumped and hampered in three of his last few runs, so there is a case that the form is better than the results. Trusty Bandit and Ayasaki are the two who will run into the money if the pace stays slow and the finish is quick. Flaming Genesis at $21.00 is the roughie who can steal it if he gets the front with no one contesting.
Top 3 + Roughie ($7.50 pool)
1. Samurai Warrior (No.1) — $3.60 / $1.52
Bet $7.50 Win, return $27.00
Prob 24.5% | Place: 57.1% | Value: 0.88x Steady since tip
Why One win from seven on soft and a 2nd at Sunshine Coast 1800m last start. He was bumped and hampered in three of his last few runs, and the stamina for 3200m is the reason I'm on him.
2. Trusty Bandit (No.2) — $3.60 / $1.55
Bet Tracked
Prob 19.5% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.70x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.55 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Ayasaki (No.3) — $5.50 / $1.75
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.8% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.03x Steady since tip
Why Sectional fastest in the L600 and L400, with a 2nd at Doomben 2240m last start. He's a midfield horse who can run down the slow pace.
Roughie: Flaming Genesis (No.6) — $21.00 / $3.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.8% | Place: 22.4% | Value: 1.01x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers on for the first time and tongue control plus a lugging bit on. If he gets the lead in a slow race with no one pressing him, he's the horse who can steal it, but the stats say it's a long shot.
Race 5 – LJ Building Construction (Bm65)
Race type: Benchmark 65, 1800m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace, with The Torque Factor, Meltdown and Fiorsum Fred all sitting handy. The Torque Factor settles from barrier 3 and the shape helps him. Meltdown is drawn wide at barrier 8 and is among the handy runners hurt by the pace.
Punty read: The Torque Factor is the bet, and two wins in his last two, both at 1680m and 1666m on the Gold Coast, is the reason. He sits handy from a nice draw and the moderate pace suits him. Meltdown is the danger if he can get the run he wants, and King Emperor sits back and can run down the field late. Our Turn Now at $10.00 is the roughie who needs the speed to collapse.
Top 3 + Roughie ($7.50 pool)
1. The Torque Factor (No.2) — $2.50 / $1.22
Bet $7.50 Win, return $18.75
Prob 21.9% | Place: 51.7% | Value: 0.55x Steady since tip
Why Won his last two at Ipswich, 1680m and 1666m, and sits handy from barrier 3 in a race where the pace favours the middle of the field.
2. Meltdown (No.3) — $5.50 / $1.75
Bet Tracked
Prob 20.4% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.12x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.75 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. King Emperor (No.5) — $5.50 / $1.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.88x Steady since tip
Why Won at Sunshine Coast 1600m last start and has the sectional speed in the L600 and L400. He's a back-half runner who can pick off the tired ones.
Roughie: Our Turn Now (No.4) — $11.00 / $2.70
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.2% | Place: 28.0% | Value: 0.79x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 5 with 5 wins from 41 starts on his record and sectional time rank 2 in his recent runs. He's held up in his last two, so if the pace stays moderate he can run on late.
Race 6 – Tate Brownlee Real Estate Hcp (C4)
Race type: Class 4, 1000m
Map & tempo: Hot pace, with The Gambling Greek, Eagle's Fire and Red Feather Boa all wanting the front from barriers 4, 6 and 9. Quein Step settles midfield from barrier 2 and the shape is against him, but three runners fighting for the lead gives the closers a chance. Concession and Miss Mclaren sit handy and can slot into the trail.
Punty read: Quein Step is the bet, and the reason is the sectional speed and the three runs of sub 1000m form that show he can handle a fast tempo. He's 4kg down from his last start, which is a plus. The Gambling Greek and Eagle's Fire will fight it out at the front, and I'm happy to let them do it. Miss Mclaren is the one who can run into the money if the leaders go too hard, and Concession is the danger on the speed.
Top 3 + Roughie ($12.00 pool)
1. Quein Step (No.10) — $2.25 / $1.20
Bet $12.00 Win, return $27.00
Prob 22.3% | Place: 58.3% | Value: 0.50x Steady since tip
Why 2nd at Gold Coast 1000m last start and 2nd at Eagle Farm 1000m before that. He's 4kg down and the trainer is running hot at 17.0% (L100).
2. Miss Mclaren (No.8) — $3.90 / $1.62
Bet Tracked
Prob 19.6% | Place: 46.9% | Value: 0.76x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.62 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Concession (No.2) — $6.00 / $2.05
Bet Tracked
Prob 19.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.14x Steady since tip
Why Won at Gold Coast Track 3:2-0-0 from the same draw. The jockey is hot at Gold Coast with a 27.3% combo strike rate.
Roughie: The Gambling Greek (No.4) — $14.00 / $3.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 6.4% | Place: 24.4% | Value: 0.89x Steady since tip
Why Won at Gold Coast 850m last start and is on the lead. If the pace goes to his liking, he can hang on in a hot race over 1000m.
Race 7 – Mane Frame Powered By Works Hcp (C4)
Race type: Class 4, 1400m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace, with Silent Call, Vacillation and Tuki Twelve all wanting the front. Divine Justice settles midfield from barrier 4 and the shape is against him, but moderate paces do not have the sting to hurt a horse with a clear run. Laridae and Vacillation both get the shape, and Laridae is the best of the midfield runners.
Punty read: Divine Justice is the bet and the reason is simple: 1st at Ipswich 1350m last start, 1st at Sunshine Coast 1400m before that, and the trainer is hot at 26.0% (L100). He's 2kg down from his last start, and at 1400m with the sectionals fastest in L600 and L400 he can finish. Laridae is the danger from the midfield, and Vacillation can run late if the leaders stop. Outakandy at $10.00 is the roughie who can run on late in a moderate race.
Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)
1. Divine Justice (No.6) — $2.75 / $1.40
Bet $10.50 Win, return $28.88
Prob 20.3% | Place: 55.2% | Value: 0.56x Steady since tip
Why 1st at Ipswich 1350m last start and 1st at Sunshine Coast 1400m before that. The trainer is running hot at 26.0% (L100), and the sectionals are the fastest in the field.
2. Laridae (No.3) — $5.00 / $1.85
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.2% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.71x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.85 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Vacillation (No.8) — $7.50 / $2.45
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.0% | Place: 42.5% | Value: 0.98x Steady since tip
Why 2nd at Gold Coast 1400m last start and sits handy from barrier 9. He's a 1400m horse and the pace works for him.
Roughie: Outakandy (No.1) — $10.00 / $2.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.2% | Place: 35.7% | Value: 1.02x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 2 and a 3rd at Beaudesert 1200m last few. The 7th last start after being raced wide is the excuse, so if the wide run is over he can finish late.
Race 8 – 2027 Suns Corporate Hospitality Hcp (58)
Race type: Restricted 58, 1200m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace, with I Stole It, Zoodoo and Smashing Nova all in the lead group and Champagne Problems drawn wide at barrier 13. Extreme Spirit settles back from barrier 4 and the shape is against him, with the midfield and handy horses hurt by the pace. This is a race where the pace could collapse and the finish is wide open.
Punty read: Extreme Spirit is the bet, and I'm not fighting the market in a wide-open race. He's placed in his last three with a 3rd at Gold Coast 1000m last start, and the jockey is Danny Peisley with an 11% strike rate at Gold Coast. The shape is against him but a 1200m sprint with a strong pace up front can come back to the closers. Smashing Nova and Zoodoo are the two who can run into the money if the leaders hold on. Ode To Beauty at $9.00 is the roughie who can wait and pounce late.
Top 3 + Roughie ($7.50 pool)
1. Extreme Spirit (No.7) — $4.80 / $1.95
Bet $7.50 Win, return $36.00
Prob 12.8% | Place: 39.4% | Value: 0.61x Steady since tip
Why Placed in his last three, with a 3rd at Gold Coast 1000m last start. The back-of-field sit is against the shape, but the closers get their chance if the leaders fade.
2. Smashing Nova (No.5) — $6.00 / $2.15

3. Zoodoo (No.3) — $7.50 / $2.65
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.3% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.77x Steady since tip
Why 3rd at Doomben 1000m last start and the jockey is strong at Gold Coast. He's on the speed from barrier 2 and gets a clear run if the leaders stay in front.
Roughie: Ode To Beauty (No.11) — $9.00 / $3.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.4% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.84x Steady since tip
Why 2nd at Gold Coast 1000m last start and a Gold Coast 1200m 5th. Midfield from barrier 14 is a long way back, but if the race breaks his way, the late run gives him a chance.
Race 9 – Vale Bob McHarg (Bm65)
Race type: Benchmark 65, 1200m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace, with Hello Lovely the only leader from barrier 3 and no one else mapping to lead. Champagne Lane settles back from barrier 15 and the shape is against him, but a genuine pace with a lot of runners on the speed gives the closers a chance. Certified Copy and Hellarious are both on the speed from barriers 4 and 12 and are the ones who run into the finish.
Punty read: Champagne Lane is the bet, and it's an each-way bet because the place price backs up the win. He's won three of his four first-up starts, which is the reason he's on this card. Blinkers on for the first time today, and the back-of-field draw is a problem, but a genuine pace over 1200m is his kind of race. Certified Copy and Hellarious are the two who run into the money from handy spots, and Hello Lovely at $13.00 is the roughie who can lead them all the way.
Top 3 + Roughie ($8.00 pool)
1. Champagne Lane (No.4) — $5.50 / $2.15
Bet $8.00 Each Way ($4.00W + $4.00P), collects $30.60 if it wins ($22.00 win + $8.60 place), $8.60 if it only places
Prob 16.3% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.90x Steady since tip
Why Three wins from four first-up starts and sectional fastest in the L600 and time. Blinkers on for the first time, and the genuine pace suits a closer.
2. Certified Copy (No.1) — $8.50 / $2.65
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.2% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 1.12x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Hellarious (No.12) — $5.50 / $2.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.7% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.70x Steady since tip
Why 1st at Gold Coast 850m last start and a 5th at Doomben 1110m. He's handy from barrier 13 and the genuine pace suits a handy runner.
Roughie: Hello Lovely (No.19) — $13.00 / $3.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 5.3% | Place: 22.4% | Value: 0.69x Steady since tip
Why The only leader from barrier 3 and a 1st at Gold Coast 1000m last start. If no one challenges him early, he can go all the way at a big price.
SEQUENCE LANES
EARLY QUADDIE (R2–R5)
Smart: 6,1,5,4 / 1,12,6,11 / 1,2,3,5 / 2,3,5,4 (256 combos x $0.30 = $76.80) -- 30% flexi
Punty's take: The Grey One keeps R2 tight, but R3 and R4 are open and the chance of a longshot winner is high. 30.1% flexi, a fair play for the outlay, but the risk is real. This is an entertainment ticket if R2 slips.
QUADDIE (R6–R9)
Smart: 10,8,2 / 6,3,8,1 / 7,5,11,3 / 1,12,4,19 (192 combos x $0.33854 = $65.00) -- 33.9% flexi
Punty's take: R6 and R7 are tighter than R8 and R9, and R8 and R9 are wide open. 31.2% flexi, a high-outlay ticket for a quaddie that needs a $5 to $10 winner somewhere to pay well. Honest risk: the short-priced winners in R6 and R7 barely move the dividend.
BIG 6 (R4–R9)
Smart: 1,2,3,5 / 2,3,5,4 / 10,8,2,4 / 6,3,8,1 / 7,5,11,3 / 1,12,4,19 (4096 combos x $0.00122 = $5.00) -- 0.12% flexi
Punty's take: Six open legs with a 0.12% flexi, so this is an entertainment-only ticket. It's $5 for the dream, and the odds of landing it are long. Play it for the fun of watching the legs go.
NUGGETS FROM THE TRACK
1 - Blinkers on first time at Gold Coast
Shotpoint (Race 1) goes blinkers on for the first time today and won his last start at Gold Coast 1000m by 1.5L. Watch the market on him.
2 - Ipswich double for The Torque Factor
The Torque Factor (Race 5) won his last two at Ipswich, 1680m and 1666m, both by strong margins. He's the form horse in a race that looks wide open on paper.
3 - Warning signs on the weights
Grandstander (Race 2) carries a 0/5 winning record at 58kg, which is the sort of stat that makes you look twice at the price. It's a warning for the roughie, but not a reason to dismiss him for the place pool.
FINAL WORD FROM THE SICKO SANCTUARY
Soft 7 with a mountain of rain behind it, so take the speed seriously and don't go chasing the loudest tip on the card. Back the horses who can see the race coming, and keep the roughies on a short leash. See you at the barrier.
