Punty's Early Mail
For all of Punty's tips for Morphettville Parks, head to https://punty.ai/tips/morphettville-parks-2026-11-07
Rightio Degenerates, nine races, a Good 4 track and a card that pays the blokes who actually read the form. The rail is out 3m, the sky is overcast with gusts around 20km/h, and the back half of the card is where the speed lives. The first two races are slow on paper, the middle of the card runs genuine, and the last two are hot. Let's go hunting.
MEET SNAPSHOT
Track: Morphettville Parks, 1000m to 2260m card
Rail: +3m 1000m-W/Post, True Remainder
Official going: Good 4
Weather: Overcast. Live conditions: gusts 20.4km/h
Early lane guess: unknown pre-race, watch the first two
Tempo profile: Races 1 and 2 are slow, Race 4 is moderate, Races 3, 5, 6 and 7 are genuine, and Races 8 and 9 are hot.
Jockeys to follow:
Jake Toeroek: Eight rides on the card, including Hard Copy in Race 1, Laa De Sha in Race 7 and Virtual Illusion in Race 5. He's on the three horses I'd build the day around.
Noel Callow: Eight rides, and he's on Confucious Flyer in Race 8, the shortest price on the card, plus Inevitable Award in Race 4 and Bohemian Angel in Race 6.
Todd Pannell: Eight rides, including Darknconfidential in Race 4 and Blanc Visage in Race 8, so he's got a horse in the feature bet and a roughie in the hot race.
Stables to respect:
Sarah Rutten (8 runners): Eight runners is the biggest stable on the card, and Meg's Magic in Race 6 and Crimson Vine in Race 4 are the ones I'd be watching from that yard.
R & C Jolly (7 runners): Seven runners, with Hard Copy in Race 1 and Virtual Illusion in Race 5 both carrying the stable's name into the bet line.
Phillip & Tommy Stokes (4 runners): Four runners, including Bohemian Angel in Race 6 and Opal Heritage in Race 2, and the Bohemian Angel each way is one of the better value pieces on the card.
Punty's take: Right, let's talk about where the speed is, because that's where this card gets decided. Races 2 and 1 are slow on the paper, which means the leaders aren't going to be cooked early and the chasers have a bit of time to get organised. Race 3 is the Kalmana show, the only horse on the map to lead from barrier 12, and the shape helps him at 1.23. Race 5 is the one I'd call a genuine tempo race with From The Block the only leader, and it's bad news for backmarkers like Virtual Illusion, except that is exactly the horse I'm putting my money on, so you can see my problem.
Race 8 is the blow-up race. Three horses want the lead, More Than Hope, Confucious Flyer and Super Wonder, and that's a bunch of speed in a 1000m sprint. Race 9 is the same story at 1400m, with four leaders in Brave Apache, Synchro, Flaming Navy and Nasho, and three of them have to work from the wide barriers to get there. Those are the chaos races, and you should treat them like a bar fight in a country pub, stay out of the middle and watch the exits.
What it means for you: Be aggressive in Race 8 because Confucious Flyer is the shortest price on the card and the shape is kind to him, but don't pretend it's a bank. The most value on the day sits in Race 6 where Bohemian Angel looks a sharp each way bet even though the shape is against him. Race 1 is a five horse field with only two places paying, so keep your stakes small and let the win ticket do the talking.
Protect yourself in Race 4 and Race 5 because both have a pick that the shape works against, and that means the bet has to earn its money from class and form, not from the pace. The chaos sits in Races 4, 8 and 9. Keep the exotics small there and let the banker races pay for the rest.
PUNTY'S BIG 3 + MULTI
These are the three bets the day leans on.
1 - Confucious Flyer (Race 8, No.3) — $1.53
Why Shortest price on the card, and the way I read it he's the one that matters. He leads from barrier 6, the staked line says the shape helps him, and the two most recent runs in the data are a win and a second in the 1050m and 1000m range.
2 - Hard Copy (Race 1, No.1) — $2.24
Why A five horse field where he's the most likely winner in the data, Jake Toeroek on, and a 0.2L second at Murray Bridge GH on 2026-10-29 that tells me he's sharp coming off a run.
3 - Laa De Sha (Race 7, No.4) — $3.60
Why Midfield from barrier 1, the shape helps him at 1.11, and Jake Toeroek picks up the ride with the trainer running hot at 21% over the last 100 rides at this track.
Multi (all three to win): $10 × 12.34 = $123.40
Race 1 – Sportsbet Green Tick Plate
Race type: Open, 1000m
Map & tempo: Slow pace on the card's read, and the map has no settling positions for this field, so I'm not going to pretend I know who gets the front. It's five runners, and when there's no obvious lead there's no obvious trap either, so the tempo is about who breaks sharp from barriers 1 to 5. Hard Copy from barrier 2 is the one I want to be on the rail side of things.
Punty read: Hard Copy is my bet, $15 to win, and the cheap price is the reason to respect it rather than fear it. Hot Angel is the danger because the cross-over nose band and visors are both on for the first time, and he's coming off a win at Murray Bridge GH over 800m. Miss Parton ran third in the same race as Hard Copy second, so the form line is tight. Only two places pay in a field this small, so I'm keeping the place tickets out of this one.
Top 3 + Roughie ($15.00 pool)
1. Hard Copy (No.1) — $2.24 / $1.22
Bet $15.00 Win, return $33.60
Prob 36.2% | Place: 61.5% | Value: 0.81x Steady since tip
Why Jake Toeroek on, R & C Jolly's horse, and a 0.2L second at Murray Bridge GH on 2026-10-29. He's back in 8 days and he's the one with the best form line here.
2. Hot Angel (No.4) — $3.10 / $1.55
Bet Tracked
Prob 32.7% | Place: 58.9% | Value: 1.01x Steady since tip
Why Only two places paid in a field this size, and skinny place divvies make savers a mug's game — this is a win-only race. Tracked, not staked.
3. Miss Parton (No.5) — $4.70 / $1.85
Bet Tracked
Prob 17.8% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.84x Steady since tip
Why Third at Murray Bridge GH over 800m by 0.3L, same race as the top two, and Caitlyn Munro takes the ride for R & C Jolly.
Roughie: Patong Express (No.2) — $14.00 / $3.60
Bet Tracked
Prob 5.0% | Place: 17.8% | Value: 0.70x Steady since tip
Why The path is simple, the top two cancel each other out and a $14 price gets the sneak. There's no run on the board in the data, so it's a long shot with a long shot's excuse.
Race 2 – Sportsbet Feed Mdn Plate
Race type: Maiden, 1400m
Map & tempo: Slow pace, and nobody maps to lead, with Buffo from barrier 13 the likeliest to find the front. The wide draws make it a grind for the forward runners, and Intimus from barrier 2 settles midfield where the shape helps him at 1.11. The back half of the field, Atticusspartacus, Latibulate and Fire Up Johnny among them, needs the pace to collapse, and I'm not sure it will in a slow run.
Punty read: Intimus is my bet, $13 each way, and it's the horse with the best combination of market price and place chance in the field. Ear muffs are on for the first time, which I'm noting but not overreacting to. Buffo is the danger from the front after finishing 4th at Murray Bridge GH over 1200m with interference, and Opal Heritage is on the blinkers for the first time from barrier 5. I'm not backing them but I'm watching them.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. Intimus (No.12) — $5.00 / $1.95
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P), collects $45.18 if it wins ($32.50 win + $12.68 place), $12.68 if it only places
Prob 23.4% | Place: 67.3% | Value: 1.17x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 2, the shape helps him, and his 3rd at Halidon over 1380m shows he's racing well at this level. The market has him at $5.00 and my numbers have him bigger than that.
2. Buffo (No.2) — $3.10 / $1.52
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.9% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.46x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Opal Heritage (No.9) — $7.00 / $2.50
Bet Tracked
Prob 14.8% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.04x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers on for the first time and a 2kg drop from last start, and the sectionals line has him fastest over 600m and 400m. He's a first-up runner off 156 days, so he's a watch, not a bet.
Roughie: Latibulate (No.4) — $26.00 / $4.60
Bet Tracked
Prob 2.9% | Place: 17.8% | Value: 0.74x Steady since tip
Why Blinkers on for the first time and the market has moved from $41.00 to $26.00, so someone's interested. His last start was 4th at Murray Bridge GH with a medical issue and a slow start, and his sectional line says fastest time, so a clean run changes everything.
Race 3 – Sportsbet More Places Hcp (62)
Race type: Restricted 62, 1400m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace, and Kalmana from barrier 12 is the only leader on the map, uncontested. The shape helps him at 1.23, and the pressure from Costless, Chur Nibble and Harmonic Dancer comes from the handy runners. Blue Valentine and Arcturus Star settle close enough to pounce if Kalmana is ridden too hard early.
Punty read: Kalmana is my bet, $13 each way, because the leader is the one the shape helps and he's the only one in front. Blue Valentine is the one I'd be worried about, with the place chance and the trainer at 19.4% over the last 100 rides, and the sectionals have him in a good place. Harmonic Dancer has the fastest sectional line and is one to watch if the pace stays honest.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. Kalmana (No.3) — $4.80 / $1.85
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P), collects $43.23 if it wins ($31.20 win + $12.03 place), $12.03 if it only places
Prob 18.9% | Place: 61.0% | Value: 0.91x Steady since tip
Why Leads from barrier 12, the shape suits leaders at 1.23, and the record on track is 1 win from 5 starts with 3 placings in 15 starts overall. He's the horse the race is built around.
2. Blue Valentine (No.11) — $5.70 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.9% | Place: 54.5% | Value: 1.08x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Arcturus Star (No.5) — $5.70 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 16.1% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.92x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 5 with a bumped and hampered excuse last start, and he was 5th at Morphettville 1200m with the sectionals ranked third over 600m and 400m. He's a placing chance more than a winning one.
Roughie: Costless (No.2) — $21.00 / $4.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 4.6% | Place: 24.1% | Value: 0.97x Steady since tip
Why Sits handy from barrier 9 and the shape helps him at 1.23, but the weights note is a warning, and he's 1/2 at 58kg against 0/7 at heavier weights. If Kalmana gets run down, Costless is the horse that can be there at the finish.
Race 4 – Philip Bryant Memorial (Bm80)
Race type: Benchmark 80, 2260m
Map & tempo: Moderate pace with nobody mapping to lead outright, and Suit Of Wands from barrier 13 is the one who wants to go forward but has to work across the field to get there. Inevitable Award settles back from barrier 8, and the shape is against him at 0.81. This is a staying race, and it will be run on rhythm, so the closers get a longer run at the line than the front runners.
Punty read: Inevitable Award is my bet, $10.50 to win, and I'll admit the shape is against him. What wins it anyway is his sectional line showing fastest over 600m and fastest on time, plus a trainer hot at 21.0% over the last 100 rides. Suit Of Wands is the one who can win it from the front if the pace stays moderate, and Darknconfidential is the one to watch from the back half.
Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)
1. Inevitable Award (No.5) — $2.85 / $1.45
Bet $10.50 Win, return $29.93
Prob 28.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.80x Steady since tip
Why The shape works against him, but his time and 600m sectional are the fastest in the race, and the 2kg drop from last start helps. He's the one I trust at the price.
2. Suit Of Wands (No.7) — $4.00 / $1.72
Bet Tracked
Prob 17.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.68x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $1.72 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Darknconfidential (No.2) — $9.40 / $2.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.6% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.90x Steady since tip
Why A back-runner from barrier 6 with Todd Pannell aboard, and his last start was 10th at Morphettville over 2000m with held up and raced wide excuses. That gives him a reason to bounce.
Roughie: Princess Painton (No.10) — $11.00 / $3.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 8.2% | Place: 31.4% | Value: 0.91x Steady since tip
Why The shape is against her at 0.76, but she won over 2250m at Morphettville Parks in September, and the last start excuse was raced wide and bumped. If the field gets tangled up, she has a path.
Race 5 – Claude Haigh Memorial (Bm68)
Race type: Benchmark 68, 1250m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace with From The Block the only leader from barrier 3, and the shape suits the forward runners, Santastico, Talent Scout and Stockman's Choice. Virtual Illusion sits back from barrier 9 and the shape is against him at 0.81. If From The Block gets rolled, the closers get their run.
Punty read: Virtual Illusion is my bet, $13 to win, and I'm backing the horse the shape works against. What makes it stick is his sectional line showing fastest over 600m and fastest on time, plus a 2nd at Morphettville over 1200m on 2026-10-24. Captain Happy and From The Block are both short enough to stay in the frame, and From The Block is the one to watch if the pace is genuine.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. Virtual Illusion (No.4) — $2.20 / $1.30
Bet $13.00 Win, return $28.60
Prob 27.0% | Place: 58.7% | Value: 0.59x Steady since tip
Why Sectionals are the fastest in the race over 600m and time, and his last start was a 2nd at Morphettville over 1200m by 0.5L. Jake Toeroek gets the ride back for R & C Jolly.
2. From The Block (No.1) — $6.40 / $2.20
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.7% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.88x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.20 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Captain Happy (No.12) — $6.40 / $2.25
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.6% | Place: 43.6% | Value: 0.81x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 6 with the trainer and Lauren Stojakovic. His last start was a 3rd at Morphettville over 1050m, and he's won in the 800m range at Morphettville Parks before.
Roughie: Tough Talk (No.10) — $9.00 / $2.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.6% | Place: 33.7% | Value: 0.86x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 8 and the shape is against him at 0.81, but he's 2kg down from last start and has won 3 of 8 starts. The 2nd at Morphettville Parks over 1000m shows he's competitive at this trip.
Race 6 – Mimi's Fast Fillies (Bm68)
Race type: Benchmark 68, 1250m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace with I'm A Hottie the only leader from barrier 2, and the shape helps Champagne Jenni, My Zephyr and Clux Star. Bohemian Angel is back from barrier 5 and the shape is against her at 0.76. The leader will be run down if the back runners get their run, but the pressure from Canny Miss and Tropical House is real.
Punty read: Bohemian Angel is my bet, $13 each way, because she's the best value on the card in the data and her place chance is the reason to be on her. Canny Miss is the one the market loves at $2.05, and I'd be happy to watch her go. Meg's Magic is the horse I'd keep for the exotics if the pace collapses the front.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. Bohemian Angel (No.5) — $5.50 / $2.10
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P), collects $49.40 if it wins ($35.75 win + $13.65 place), $13.65 if it only places
Prob 23.0% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 1.27x Steady since tip
Why The shape is against her, but her 1st at Morphettville over 1200m on 2026-10-10 is the kind of run that wins from behind. Noel Callow has a 25% combo strike rate with her at this track.
2. Canny Miss (No.7) — $2.05 / $1.25
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.3% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.38x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Meg's Magic (No.8) — $10.00 / $3.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.3% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 1.23x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 10 with Kayla Crowther on, and her 2nd at Morphettville over 1200m on 2026-10-17 shows she's in form. Sectionals rank her third over 600m and fastest on time.
Roughie: My Zephyr (No.4) — $9.50 / $2.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 10.4% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.98x Steady since tip
Why The shape helps back-runners at 1.11 and My Zephyr is one of them. Blinkers are on again, and his last run was 13th at Morphettville over 1200m with a raced wide excuse, so he needs the front to collapse.
Race 7 – Mary Ford 90th Birthday (Bm86)
Race type: Benchmark 86, 1250m
Map & tempo: Genuine pace with The Stalker the only leader from barrier 3, and the shape suits the back half with Laa De Sha the one the shape helps from midfield. Light The Night sits back, and the shape is against him at 0.81, though he's a 2nd at Morphettville Parks over 1250m.
Punty read: Laa De Sha is my bet, $13 to win, and she's the best value in the race on the data. She's won 7 of 21 on good and her sectional line is the fastest over 600m, 400m and time. The Stalker sets the pace but he's a leader in a race where the shape is against him, so he's the one to watch for a long run. Light The Night is the placing chance if Laa De Sha gets caught wide.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. Laa De Sha (No.4) — $3.60 / $1.62
Bet $13.00 Win, return $46.80
Prob 30.6% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 1.10x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 1, the shape helps her at 1.11, and she's got the fastest sectionals in the field. Jake Toeroek rides and the trainer is hot.
2. Light The Night (No.8) — $5.70 / $2.15
Bet Tracked
Prob 13.6% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.78x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.15 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Anotherhouse (No.7) — $4.40 / $1.80
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.7% | Place: 38.9% | Value: 0.43x Steady since tip
Why On the speed from barrier 2 and a 1st at Morphettville over 1200m on 2026-10-17. She's the one who can get forward if The Stalker gets run down.
Roughie: Dobbinair (No.11) — $13.00 / $3.40
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.4% | Place: 31.2% | Value: 0.97x Steady since tip
Why The shape is against him at 0.76, but he's a 2nd at Morphettville over 1200m and 3:1-0-1 when second up. A 3kg drop from last start helps.
Race 8 – Beyond Bank Hcp (64)
Race type: Restricted 64, 1000m
Map & tempo: Hot pace with three horses mapping to lead, More Than Hope from barrier 13, Confucious Flyer from barrier 6 and Super Wonder from barrier 2. The wide draws for More Than Hope and Babayka make it a hard run, and the shape helps Confucious Flyer, who sits on the speed from barrier 6. Reine Of Nine is the back-runner who needs the leaders to cook.
Punty read: Confucious Flyer is my bet, $10.50 to win, and he's the shortest price on the card for a reason. The shape helps him, and he's won 1 of 2 starts with the fastest sectional time in the data. Super Wonder is the one who'll take him on for the lead, which is why I like the Flyer's barrier. Dirty Gold has the gear changes that tell me something has been tried, and Blanc Visage is the roughie.
Top 3 + Roughie ($10.50 pool)
1. Confucious Flyer (No.3) — $1.53 / $1.08
Bet $10.50 Win, return $16.07
Prob 42.6% | Place: 70.0% | Value: 0.65x Steady since tip
Why The shape helps him, the trainer has a strike rate of 14% over the last 100 rides, and his last run was a 1st at Morphettville over 1050m with a 4L margin. Noel Callow rides him, and he's the one everyone will chase.
2. Super Wonder (No.11) — $7.50 / $2.25
Bet Tracked
Prob 12.4% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.93x Steady since tip
Why A real chance — but at $2.25 the place the numbers don't give me enough edge to insure with. Watching, not betting.
3. Dirty Gold (No.13) — $10.00 / $2.70
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.3% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.93x Steady since tip
Why Five gear changes today, including cheekers on for the first time, and his last run was a 1st at Murray Bridge GH over 1000m. The gear is the story, and I'll let you decide if it's the right story.
Roughie: Blanc Visage (No.9) — $12.00 / $2.90
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.2% | Place: 34.3% | Value: 1.11x Steady since tip
Why The shape is against him at 0.76, but if the front two cook each other, a gap opens. His last run was 6th with a slow start and interference, so a clean run from midfield is possible.
Race 9 – 77th Annual Legacy Race Day (Bm70)
Race type: Benchmark 70, 1400m
Map & tempo: Hot pace with four leaders, Brave Apache from barrier 1 and Synchro, Flaming Navy and Nasho from the wide barriers. Those three have to work across to get forward, and the field will be hunting them. You Sexy Thing sits handy from barrier 4, and the shape helps him slightly at 1.02. Ronny Bee sits midfield from barrier 9, and the shape is against him at 0.87.
Punty read: You Sexy Thing is my bet, $13 each way, and I'll back him to sit on the leaders' tails and have the finish. His place chance is 59.1% and the sectional and win records line up. Ronny Bee is the one the market has backed in from $4.00 to $3.50 and his sectionals are fastest over 600m, 400m and time. Jazz Affair is the roughie if the leaders get swallowed.
Top 3 + Roughie ($13.00 pool)
1. You Sexy Thing (No.5) — $5.20 / $2.00
Bet $13.00 Each Way ($6.50W + $6.50P), collects $46.80 if it wins ($33.80 win + $13.00 place), $13.00 if it only places
Prob 21.3% | Place: 61.5% | Value: 1.11x Steady since tip
Why Sits handy from barrier 4, the shape helps him slightly, and his last start was a 2nd at Morphettville 1514m with a 0.2L margin. He's won at Murray Bridge GH over 1400m on 2026-10-03.
2. Ronny Bee (No.11) — $3.50 / $1.62
Bet Tracked
Prob 18.3% | Place: 46.1% | Value: 0.64x Steady since tip
Why The top pick's each-way already covers the place angle here — doubling up is paying twice for the same insurance. Tracked instead.
3. Alpine Flyer (No.6) — $9.00 / $3.00
Bet Tracked
Prob 9.2% | Place: 34.1% | Value: 0.83x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 10 with Noel Callow aboard, a 3:1-0-1 record over 1400m and 1500m-range trips, and a last-start excuse of raced wide. He's a placing chance in a race that could get messy.
Roughie: Jazz Affair (No.13) — $11.00 / $3.50
Bet Tracked
Prob 7.8% | Place: 32.7% | Value: 0.86x Steady since tip
Why Midfield from barrier 5 and the shape is against him at 0.76, but his 2nd-up record is 5:2-1-0 and he's on the track at 5:2-1-1. Jake Toeroek rides and the market has moved from $13.00 to $11.00.

Punty's take: Race 4 is the tight leg on 5 and 7, but races 2 and 3 are open bunches and race 5 is wide enough to hurt. This is a high risk ticket with 36.5% flexi, and the minimum flexi floor on this ticket is 30%. It's a fun ticket that only pays if the open races hand over a $5 or better winner.
QUADDIE (R6–R9)
Smart: 7,5,8,4 / 4,8,7,11 / 3,11 / 5,11,6,13 (128 combos x $0.3906 = $50.00) -- 39.1% flexi
Punty's take: Race 8 keeps the leg tight with Confucious Flyer at $1.53, but race 9 is open and race 7 has four runners in play. Moderate risk, 36.5% flexi, and the quaddie needs one of the longer shots to salvage a decent return.
BIG 6 (R4–R9)
Smart: 7,5,2,10 / 4,1,12,10 / 7,5,8,4 / 4,8,7,11 / 3,11,9,13 / 5,11,6,13 (4096 combos x $0.00122 = $5.00) -- 0.12% flexi
Punty's take: Honest flag: this one is entertainment only. Six legs with 4800 combos and a 0.10% flexi, so it's a lottery ticket that's cheap to play and rarely pays. Play it for the fun of watching Race 7 and Race 8 open up.
NUGGETS FROM THE TRACK
1 - Blinkers on the market move
Blinkers go on first time for No.4 Latibulate in Race 2 and the market has moved from $41.00 to $26.00 [HEAVY]. Someone's taking that seriously, and I'm watching it.
2 - Dirty Gold's gear shuffle
Dirty Gold in Race 8 has cheekers on first time, cross-over nose band on first time, ear muffs on first time, and lugging bit and winkers both off first time. That's a lot of changes for one run.
3 - Race 1 is a five horse NTD field
Only five go around in Race 1 and only two places pay, so the place bet is a bit of a coin toss. Keep the win ticket simple and let the big price on the top pick do the talking.
FINAL WORD FROM THE SICKO SANCTUARY
Confucious Flyer at $1.53 is the shortest price on the card, and I still reckon the bloke's going to make people sweat. Keep your stakes sensible, your mates close, and your tickets in your pocket until the numbers say otherwise.
